Samaritan Tire

Staff the hell up before the first snow!!! If customers are turned away on their summer rubber, that is not acceptable. Extremely disappointing. Time to shop for better tire service.
Update: Samaritan put me ahead of the line the next day. Kudos! Now, one final complaint: PLEASE don’t leave Fox News blaring on the waiting room tv! Most Minnesotans find that crap offensive.

First time in a long time I was purchasing tires. Found the ones I wanted online for a killer price and started calling local tire shops to find one to have tires shipped to/​installed. One requirement I had was Road Force balancing capability, of which Samaritan is one of very few local shops with this service.
Called ‘em, got a fair quote on install and the guy I was talking to happened to ask what the specific tire, and price of, I was about to order were. Told him and after a second he told me he had the tires in stock and would match the price. Not only were these not commonly available tires but the online price was truly amazing, and that Samaritan had them AND would match an internet retailer’s price?! No brainier…
Told the shop guy I’d be in the following day, showed up and confirmed they’d match the price before they started the work. I was told it would take about an hour, took and hour and a half, but they did great work and as mentioned in other reviews, the waiting area was more than adequate.
When the job was done they got me finished up quickly and out of there. Tires and install were both seemingly flawless, done quickly enough and for a truly fair price.
I highly recommend Samaritan Tire.

Best flat tire I ever had. I pulled in with a fast leak in my tire. I had stopped at several gas station on my commute home to keep the tire full. The guy behind the counter was great. Quoted me a price in 5 mins. Had the paperwork done in 6 mins. I was out the door thirty minutes later and the price was exactly as quoted. Awesome!!!

I have been using Samaritan Tire for many years now. Recently, I purchase a set of custom wheels for one of my cars and had chosen a rather hard to find tire to pair with them. Not only did they have the tires in stock (which no one else in the five county area did), but I was able to get them done right away. I dropped the car and the wheels (still in their boxes) off Friday night and picked it up on Saturday. They were very careful with the wheels, not a single scratch on them! I had not known it at the time but I needed lug nuts and a set was located without me having to do anything but approve the price! I also was not aware that there were decals for the center caps and the staff at Samaritan did a great job installing them for me. They bagged my old wheels and tires for me to carry home because I intend to sell them.
I have another vehicle with both summer and winter tires and wheels. Samaritan stores your off season set for you so you don’t have to take up precious garage space with such a large item! I believe the price is very reasonable for the amount of time they must store the tires. At each season change I just make an appointment and show up, they swap out the tires, store the others and I am outta there in a very reasonable amount of time. Last time I was in there, it actually took them less time then the dealer took changing my oil. Love this place and they are always my Go To when it comes to wheels and tires!

I just got a set of tires at Samaritan earlier this week, on the recommendation of a long-​time Hopkins resident. I sent them an email from their website, and received an answer the following morning. They gave me a few options, complete with pricing. I told them I’d drop by after work, and they said they’d have it done in an hour.
They have a good-​sized waiting room with plenty of magazines and a flat screen TV. To my surprise, they actually finished the job in about 20 minutes. I was also surprised when I went up to pay, they applied a $ 40 coupon/​discount on the job which I didn’t even bring in (nor did they even mention it).
It felt good to bring my business to a local family company. They treated me great and did excellent work. My tires are working very well on the snowy roads.
Give these guys a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
