She is regularly invited by jewelry stores to preside over roundtable gem shows — intimate sales events for exclusive clients.

Meet the Business Owner

Tatyana V.

Business Owner

In 2003 Tatyana went on a jorney to Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show with a friend and fell in love with colored gemstones. At the show she ended up buying a faceting machine and some rough. She took private lessons, learned to facet and carve gems. Tatyana got inspired to start her own business and started out in wholesale as a fine gemstone facetor and gem carver, selling her work to jewelry designers and independent jewelry stores. Soon after Sara D. Commers of Studio C Designs invited to apprentice at a bench creating jewelry from materials such as gold, silver, palladium and platinum. Tatyana went to study at New Approach school and became certified bench jeweler. Five years later she opened her own retail jewelry store Diamonds, Gems & Pearls. To this day she continues to do round table gem shows for jewelry stores as well as running a retail store. Tatyana is very passionate about jewelry and wants to share the beauty and wonder of natural colored gemstones and custom jewelry design.
