History

Established in 2014.

I opened Designed Intention in 2014 following a move from Colorado to the Lake Minnetonka area. Having a personal history with building and remodeling homes and a career in real estate, I knew there was a need for a window treatment company that didn’t disappear after the sale. My goal is to fill your home with the window treatments you love even if that is one window at a time.

I represent the finest line in custom window treatments, Hunter Douglas. These American made products are not only beautiful to live with, they provide innovative features such as child and pet safety controls, variable light control and privacy, insulation for rooms against heat and cold, help to protect your furnishings from damaging UV rays, and even absorb sound to improve the acoustics in a room.

I moved to the Lake Minnetonka area June 1, 2014 and I could not be more thrilled with our choice. Everyone says, «just wait ’til winter!» While I know it will be a shock, I can’t wait to enjoy the cross country skiing, snowmobiling and quiet days in front of a fire.
