New to our stores is the Battery Terminal — your one stop shop for all batteries! We have a battery for every application –cars, trucks, boats, lawn mowers, watches, cell phones, power tools, farm machinery & motorcycles — and much more! If we don’t carry it, we can get it!

History

Established in 1953.

For over 60 years, True Value Hardware has been serving the people of Auglaize & Mercer counties & the surrounding areas. Stan & Dona Mae Kuenning started the family business in 1953 with one store in downtown New Bremen. In 1976, a second store opened in downtown Minster. In 1987, Scott & Linda Kuenning, the second generation, combined the two small stores into the new current 40,000 square foot, midway between Minster & New Bremen. In 2004, a 2^nd location was added in St. Henry. In 2009, we remodeled the St. Henry store to the new Destination True Value format & layout. This design makes for a greater shopping experience for the customer. In 2010 we remodeled our Minster location.

In 2013, the 3^rd generation began their adventure in the business — Lee, Andy, Rob & Jeff Kuenning have helped expand yet again with a third store located in Wapak. With over 67,000 square feet of combined merchandise in all three locations, we’re confident you will find all you need for your next project!
