Doug R.
Business Owner
At a very young age, Doug was trained by his father who was a master crafted butcher„ everything he would need to know about being not just a butcher, but a very articulated master meat cutter. Having the advantage of owning their own butcher shop in Downey Ca. called «The Country Butcher,» Doug dedicated his life learning and perfecting the knowledge and techniques that his dad taught him over the years.
Throughout those years Doug did more than cut meat, he also learned the art of making beef jerky, a snack product customer favorite! With a high demand for their jerky, new flavors would need to be introduced to satisfy the growing number of customer requests. It soon became a passion that would grow to eventually help him create his own beef jerky company, Now That’s Killer Jerky.
With their butcher shop now sold, Doug’s desire to expand and broaden his customer base is a goal he looks forward to reaching.
