History

Established in 2006.

Pearle Vision Miramar opened in June of 2006 as the second Pearle Vision office of Dr. Michael Chesen (our first being located in North Miami Beach). We have operated with basically the same staff (with a cumulative experience of over 50+ years in the optical industry).Our business is a proud member of the Pembroke Pines-​Miramar Chamber of Commerce.

Business Owner

Dr. Michael Chesen was born in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1954 and spent his first 21 years in the Northeast before moving to South Florida with his family in 1975. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1977. In 1993 Dr. Chesen received his degree in Optometry from Nova-​Southeastern University, and has been practicing in the South Florida area since.

He is currently married to his wife Katherine, and lives in Weston, Fl. with her and his Jack Russell Terrier, Jackie.
