Comcast Service Center

What kind of crock is this company?! We have had service since January 2015 and could NOT get a solid connection. We had multiple people come out, each saying they fixed the issue, to have them not. I even had one STILL putting her things away in her truck and the service dropped. I was told ‘let the connection warm up’. Uh… I am not that dumb and I was just put off enough to say ok, just so she would leave. The last guy to come out did some speed tests, he tells us basically, that we have the cheapest modem provided and that we could buy a more expensive one from Xfinity, but we could find cheaper somewhere else… EVEN showing up some websites where to go. This was all to be on the downlow… of course… cuz should he be sharing this information? We asked specifically if we would be charged for this (as we asked EVERY OTHER TIME) and he said absolutely not. Well… lookie there… a $ 70 charge on our bill. Xfinity the company themselves can not credit it because the tech said the charge is valid. So, let me get this straight, if you have some crap charge on your bill and its like $ 200, because the tech said its valid, it sticks and nothing can be done? We did infact go buy a modem and router and our internet works, not because of your equipment. So, was this a charge for giving us some information that your own tech should not be giving out? I dont know. If you have the tech Jeff come to your home, do not believe him about charges, because, it very well could be a lie. SO, I hope that $ 70 is worth all the money you will be out from a monthly bill due to me switching carriers.

This has to be the most disgusting customer service I have ever come across. I We have been a loyal customers for many years and have recently moved Comcast stated that the live cost would be $ 99.00 flat fee. Imagine our surprise when we received a $ 400 plus bill within 1 week of transferring the equipment. Even now we have taken at least 5 plus hours on the phone trying to fix this situation the call being terminated min more than one occasion which in turns creates even more stress. At this point We need to find alternative measures. There has to be a better company out there that is compatible any suggestions!!!
