We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at: The White Harte in Woodland Hills and it was a fabulous party! The food, drinks and service was terrific. All of our guests loved the quaint private room and enjoyed the food and drinks. To Nikki, Heather, Kim and the entire staff at The White Harte a large Heartfelt Thank You!

Mediocre food and service. Our food was cold and bland. And the karaōke… Just no. No all around.

Service was very disappointing! Ordered food and that was the last time we saw the server. After 20 mins we asked if someone can check our food — that person did not come back. Finally our server came by to let us know that they are busy. Still no food. Other patrons came and got their food. Finally decided to leave. Manager came by to inform us that our food was ready and he would give us a discount. We informed him that our server had been missing and not checking on us — manager informed us that our server was busy with the big party. Wow! That made our decision of leaving even more!!! Like I said service was very disappointing!

I used to come to this place all the time, when I was in my 20s it was so nice for some drinks, now geez really who ends a happy hour at 5 even on New Years u guys truely need to get back in the game cuz all that’s left is a few 70 year olds .i would really love for them to liven things up !! Add more to the happy hour, ur food is ok thou prices have really gone up. Chips and salsa r great! but only beer and a margarita for a two hour happy hour while most people are still at work? Come on I’m sure with those prices u can stretch out the happy hour plus and more drinks to it

Que lugar me encantan. Serca de la autopista! Musica de corazon, tal vez un poco de Javier Solis y Jose Alfredo Alfredo y sera mas authentico. Ademas de eso muy lindo. Salud a todos.

The 5 stars is for our waiter, Martin Casillas. What amazing service. But the manager Saul was incredibly rude. I will come back but it WON’T be because of the manager.

FIVESTARSFORMARTINCASILLAS! The excellent service and food my friend and I received from Martin was a treat! For 39 years, he has served with a smile, with class, with dignity, and with attention to detail; every dish was served with care and our glasses were never empty, which today in the any business is rare. Martin deserves promotion and recognition for a job well done! He is the only reason I will come back and am NOT writing a negative review. The flan is fabulous! And the guacamole is quite tasty as well! If you’re going to go here for dinner, I suggest you ask for Martin, he will take good care of you, your food will be hot and your glasses will never be empty, and you will have service with a sweet smile.

I love this place everyone is so nice and pleasant to talk to. Laura is my favorite! She is only there mornings but she’s worth going for lunch time.

My husband took me here when we were dating 25 years ago. Great restaurant. We just spent his bday there and even see some of the same waiters. Great food, friendly staff. The same is true for their other restaurant El Queso Grande.

My mom says my dad used to come here a lot. I learned why after I started going or I should say after going back after 20 or so years. This is now my wife’s favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is great! Good sized portions, very reasonably priced and fun. They are open late which is a plus and they have an open bar. They have this cheese and chorizo fondue thing which is the bombest cheese fondue you’ll ever eat and great service. I would def recommend this place. Mariachi be in here bumping not sure if its all the time or just the weekend, only cuz I usually go on Friday nights.

I got violent food poisoning along with several other members of my family here back in April. Stay away from this place. Feel free to message me for a copy of the health department inspection report. I finally got a copy of it to verify and hence the delayed review. I’ll gladly show you.

So I’m a bit confused regarding all the horribleness in the reviews. I’ve been here 4 times now and I’ve always had a nice time. The servers were not only fine, but they were exceptionally nice 2 out of 4 times. The other 2 times they were just casually kind. The food isn’t out of this world… Which is why I gave it 4 stars, but it’s good food. I’ve never been sick after eating there, nor has my friend, or my friend’s mom, or my mom. It’s not a super fancy place. It is certainly casual. Every time I’ve been it’s been fairly crowded but with plenty of seating. I’ve never sat outside but that seating is there! My favorite dish is the Tres Enchiladas. It’s very filling for a very good price. Huevos Rancheros is a family favorite and I think they make it very well here. I have mixed reviews on the House Margaritas. I think it’s worth it during happy hour, but otherwise, not the best I’ve had and maybe don’t get too excited. Certainly read other reviews as other people aren’t loving this place! I think it’s nice, and I’ve enjoyed all my meals there.

If you want to go for a drink before going out go. Otherwise stay clear of this place. Food and service sucks and made my husband sick. I was smart and didn’t eat, so grateful for that. Be forewarned that management will ban you from drinking if they think you had drinks anywhere else. They said if you look like you’ve been drinking anywhere else you cannot drink at there bar they can’t allow it. Lol, everyone there has been drinking somewhere else! Manager don’t have balls to kick us out but they would not serve us anything else but water.

My family has been coming to El Presidente since I was a child. I had not been here in over 20 years and on April 12, 2015, came back for my sisters birthday. My whole family came to have a late lunch . Upon arrival we were seated in the back room. It was very warm and stuffy. It took awhile for them to turn the A/C on. Once all 15 of us were there, we ordered various plates. Taquitos, Enchiladas, Burritos, rice, beans, etc. The food tasted mediocre and salsa was not fresh. We paid the bill and left without an afterthought or worry . Well about 24 hours later about 8 of my family members became very ill. My son and husband were vomiting violently and had serious bouts of diarrhea. My elderly mother had to go to the ER ! My father, brother in law, 2 nieces, and sister all with the same symptoms. FOOD Poisoning !!! All family members recovered and a call was made to the Health Dept to investigate the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of this restaurant . I would think twice about eating here. We will never come back ! That’s for sure !

Olé Well .you think this is a Mexican place like all the other thousands that are in LA like measles on a kid’s face? in a way. They do it with more grace. Male staff have super clean handsome look of white shirts and the woman look will dressed too! Very nice spacious areas. Fast attentive service! chips, salsa and water refreshed quick! The soup’s flavor was spot on! I had the shrimp enchilada’s and I must say they were filled with nice sized shrimp! Some if not all places in this city must think shrimp is too rare to use more than 1. Not here! Thank ONLYPROBLEMISBECAUSETHEYARESOPOPULARANDVERYVERYGOOD… THEPARKINGGETSFILLEDUP. We have been eating here for at least 25 years! It’s great to have them in our neighborhood. Eat there or order to go. When we order to go, we always order a large bag of chips and large salsa! I like the steak zarapes but the Carnitas meal is definitely my favorite. It is consistently tender while crisped on the outside. It is a good place to have margaritas(strawberry/banana for me please!) and fun to go to in a group. There is a lot of outside seating and a separated bar area in addition to the restaurant area. Our service has always been good, but the waiter with the handlebar mustache has superpowers. He has been there forever. He refills your drink before you ask. He appears out of thin air(I swear! This is not the margarita speaking!). We had a blast marvelling at him.
