Ivan Striker A.

Manager

Ivan or Striker as he is known in the tattoo world, is the main tattooist here. He has been tattooing since 2006. He is not only a great artist but he is a great teacher. Many of his apprentice have now become great tattooist themselves.

His clients love him for his friendly and calm demeanor. He definitely loves what he does.

This was my first time coming in here to get a tattoo. I was referred by a fried that comes here to get her tattoos and I was very pleased! Omar was my tattoo artist, I was beyond pleased with everything. He was very very patient with me because I knew what I wanted but kept changing my mind so the consultation took about an hour and the whole time he remained calm I would’ve lost my patience if I was in his shoes. The place was clean and the guys there were professional and nice they hooked me up even when I needed aspirin for the pain (lol). Overall my experience there was good and I will definitely be referring people to him and the shop. Thanks Omar for your patience see you soon cuz we not done yet.

Thank you so much Omar! I’ve been looking for a place since moving to LOS angeles and I’m so happy I waited until I found the experience ink. Everyone was friendly and professional but most importantly very clean! I felt really comfortable (well as comfortable as possible when getting poked with needles!) and I really appreciated how patient Omar was as well. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a tattoo out here. Oh and there’s a parking lot too (YAYY) because LA.

If you had asked me 5 minutes ago how I felt about this place I would have told you I absolutely loved it. However, now I found out they won’t honor my artists touch up policy bc he no longer works for them. Sounds like I’m being picky, but I’m not. The artist is on tour (true story) So I have no idea when he’ll be back (if he’ll be back) where he’ll be etc etc etc. All I was asking was to do a touch up on a 2.5 inch square and they refused. Sorry but a little customer service goes a long way and they apparently don’t know what that means. Won’t be going back.

Anny does it again!
I think this is my third tattoo done by Anny and the best one so far. She’s always great with communication which I love. She asked for my input on the design and changed it to my liking. She drew it up perfectly. She put so much detail into it. I really can’t praise Anny enough, she’s a skilled artist but I really do love how well she’ll listen to what I want in the tattoo.
She saw that one of my previous tattoos needed a touch up so she told me we could touch that one up today too!
It can be hard to find a tattoo artist that you really trust but I trust Anny a lot so I’ll keep coming back!

EUPHORIA. i think that’s the right word to describe it. after years of wanting, itching, knowing ~ I FINALLY got my tiger tattoo.

A few weeks ago my little sister (24 years) tragically and very unexpectedly passed away. I immediately decided I wanted to get a tattoo in honor of her. I reached out to Laura and she immediately set up an appointment for me to have a tattoo done by Ivan.
I had never been to The Experience Ink shop before. The shop was very clean and well organized. When I met Ivan he was very kind and listened to me when I explained what my vision was. He is clearly a very talented artist and though my tattoo is fairly small and simple he gave me a lot of time and attention. We talked it out and he made a few different versions of the piece until I was extremely satisfied.

Ivan worked quickly and with great skill. My tattoo healed fast and though I’ve only had it a couple weeks I get compliments on it all the time.
I asked for 4 small hummingbirds to represent me and my siblings. I LOVE my tattoo. It is exactly what I wanted.
Thank you Laura, Ivan and The Experience Ink! I’ve already recommended you to many friends and know I’ll be returning when I’m ready for my next tattoo!

Excellent Customer Service!
The guys here are so cool. My husband and I went in to get our 1st tattoos together on our ring finger and we needed them done the same day. Ivan had a few clients so he took my number and texted us to come back in about 2– 3 hours. We came back and Johnny was able to copy the Tolkien elvish writing in less then 15 minutes for us to approve. I seriously love my tattoo and so does the hubby.

Sadly got a tattoo (done by different artist) re touched by ivan thinking he could fix it from what it was. I got it retouched about 1 – 2 years ago i mean he fixed it from what it was but he scarred the shit out of my arm and now the whole outline is raised i cant even get it covered up anymore. I am only writing this review now because i just kept looking at my arm and finally was so disgusted i thought i would finally write this review. In no way am i trying to offend the artist but just to inform customers of what possibly could happen to you.

My baby girl Kona was going to be passing away very soon and I absolutely needed her to be imprinted on me just like she’s imprinted on my whole life. Ivan was able to see me the day before she passed away to at least get the outline done which I had so many compliments on before I got it officially done. I cried a bit when I saw the outline and when I saw my finished tattoo. It looked just like Kona. I very much enjoyed my experience here! I loved the environment and felt comfortable here. If you wanna be around some good company while you get your tattoo these is the place to be and that’s not counting my best friends I brought along when I got it finished. There’s a reason The Experience Ink has a solid 5 stars from EVERY. SINGLE. REVIEW. and that’s because they are truly amazing tattoo artists.
After I got my right half sleeve started by a local tattoo artist (SGV) and instantly regret letting him permanently touch my skin, I was on the hunt for another tattoo artist. I don’t remember how I stumbled upon Anny’s Instagram, but I’m so glad I did because I will not go to anyone else! Anny is such a sweet person. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted, while giving input about location and sizing. I went in for a consultation and immediately booked her to finish the rest of my half sleeve. She’s very reasonably priced and charges by the piece, not by hour! She even helped me touch up the piece already on my arm to integrate it with what she tattooed!
After finishing that piece, I’ve been back for another large piece on my right thigh. She had posted an original drawing of roses (her specialty!!) and koi fishes and I instantly fell in love and knew I needed it! She did such an amazing job, and it has a watercolor-​type feel to it! Love love love!
The shop is located on Devonshire off the 405. It’s right between a nail shop and I believe, a dispensary. Parking is a little bit tight sometimes, but you can always park on the side street and walk over.
Like I said, I don’t think I will go to another tattoo artist other than Anny. I always get complimented on my tattoos and without hesitation, I always recommend Anny and The Experience Ink! Several of my friends have already been to her and love her work as well :)

Amazing shop ! A friend recommended I come here because I wanted to start working on my sleeve & I didn’t know where to go. I went in, talked to Anny & she was so helpful & so sweet. I had been following her on IG for a while too so I already knew her work was awesome ! She finished my arm in 4 sessions & I love how they let you pay what you can each session. Prices are AMAZING. I had already had a tattoo on my arm & not only did she work around it beautifully she touched it up so now it works with everything else.
The shop is very clean & they’re all so nice. This is the first shop I’ve been in where I’ve felt 100% comfortable not only with the environment but with the artist. I let her pick what colors she wanted to do & basically told her to do what she wanted & I dont regret it.
Check this place out if you’re looking for a new artist. Her & Ivan are the best !!
