Usually the wait is not too bad when you go to the walk-in. Last time was pretty long though. I guess that’s the price you pay for walking in when you are sick and it’s the weekend.

I live about half way between this location and the other Bristol Park walk-in location in Fountain Valley. Usually I make my decision whether to drive North or South based on the traffic. Today I went South to Mission Viejo. This was my second visit here, and I have to say I think I’m going to drive South from now on. The wait was a lot less, both in the waiting room and in the examination room. And Mission Viejo seems to get a different clientele, with a lot fewer children. I prefer not to go to the walk-in, but unfortunately my boss requires me to bring a doctor’s note whenever I use a sick day. I’m definitely going to the Bristol Park in Mission Viejo from now on.

Caught a flu virus yesterday, and realized that a(legitimate) sick day was in order. I could not meet with my regular doctor, and decided to head down to the walk-in clinic. It’s across from The Shops at Mission Viejo, but easy to miss if you don’t know where to turn. The wait was short, and the staff was cordial and helpful. The doctor assigned to me recommended the best OTC medications. Dr. Ava put me at ease. I was ready for my Target run.
