De-Lighted!

Carrie and her crew did an amazing job setting up lights for our company holiday party. They were professional and took care to make sure we got the lighting we needed. The scene was perfect thanks to the beautiful bistro lighting they used. Thanks again Carrie! I highly recommend!!!

De-​lighted povided uplighting for our wedding in the indoor reception room and outdoor patio at Arroyo Trabuco in Mission Viejo. Carrie was easy to work with, quickly responsive to emails and calls, and completed the work as expected and without any issues. Our DJ offered uplighting at a lower price, but De-​Lighted offered reasonable pricing and gave us peace of mind because they had worked with our venue many times. We didn’t have to worry about set up or take down — they handled it without any questions or issues. The uplighting created a warm and more formal atmosphere, and looked subtle yet noticeable in pictures. We’re happy we picked them!

Just had our wedding a few months ago, and we were happy we went with De-​Lighted. Working with Carrie was very easy. We were able to quickly describe what we wanted, get a quote that was fairly priced, and everything turned out as expected on the wedding day (set up was done quickly and on time, the bistro lights we used were set up exactly the way we wanted it, didn’t have to worry about take-​down or anything else). Would definitely recommend!

Rude and unprofessional.
Fortunately I did NOT do business with this company, however I was about to.
I found them online and thought that since its a local place I might be able to get a better deal. I emailed their customer service to get a quote to see if there would be any additional fees to rent the lights. First of all, there was a delay in response and I just wanted to know what the total cost would be. After a couple emails of when, what, how many, and how. I finally got a formal quote, which in my opinion would have been eaiser and faster if it was listed as $_​/​light, $_​/​day, $_​/​hour, fee for set up, late fee, etc…
Then after a few days I received an email that was very short and unprofessional that basically said shit or get off the pot…
At this point I think I will keep looking online and do one of those up light rentals with the free shipping to and from.

When I decided to have a graduation party for my daughter I wanted to make it special. I really wanted bistro lights and lanterns draped over our pool. We thought this would be something to change the look of the yard. I found Carrie at de-​lighted online and she was so nice and accommodating. I really wanted the look without it being overly expensive! She was able to give me different options and help me figure a way to do this within my budget. They are more than happy to do all the set up and take down. But the great thing is you can rent the items and DIY for less. I would definitely use them again!!!

Transformed my backyard! Had my sisters wedding reception here in my San Clemente backyard– without any previous lighting we were worried– BUT WOW Delighted made it glow gorgeously– best thing is the kindness of the people who you get to work with– they are easy to contact, awesome to work with. So sweet.
My sister and I were so thankful for all the hard work they put into our event– they even added extra lights to some trees at the end— they took no short cuts– super professional. Carrie and team did an incredible job with bistro lights for my step-mom’s 50^th birthday party. Not only was she responsive to emails and phone calls before the event, but she was extremely creative with the set-​up in a hard to work with location. The party was at Bella Collina Golf Club in San Clemente on the amphitheater and we had no idea what the lighting was going to look like because the space was huge. Carrie and team worked their magic the night before the event and it was BEAUTIFUL! Not only were the lights perfect, but the poles and plates were dressed nicely, every detail was attended to, down to trimming the ends of the zip ties keeping the tension in the lights.
I would also like to mention that Carrie was extremely flexible. This party and the event space was a moving target until about 2 weeks before. She gladly updated quotes and was happy to help throughout the entire process.
I would absolutely call Carrie and de-​lighted! again.

There aren’t enough good things I can say about the amazingly talented Carrie Goff! Carrie was a godsend when we started planning our wedding from Michigan. At first we had no clue what we wanted, but she had such wonderful and creative ideas and I don’t think our wedding would have turned out the way it did if it wasn’t for her. Carrie and her team were on top of everything on the day of our wedding. I never once had to worry about a single thing. There were some minor hiccups and she managed to take care of all of them behind the scenes. On top of that, she’s so wonderful to work with and so down-​to-​earth.

Carrie did beautiful bistro lighting for my April wedding at Arroyo Trabuco. It looked gorgeous! We got such amazing pictures with all the lights! AND she was more than accommodating when scheduling issues arose. I highly recommend!

We hired De-​Lighted to help put together our Christmas event for all of the volunteers and employees at our non-​profit organization. The owner, Carrie, did such an amazing job that we used her again for our one year anniversary! She was very kind, helpful, and has a gift for creativity.

I normally do not write reviews, and I am only doing this for the future brides to save them their time. My fiancé and I drove out of our way to her warehouse/​house to visit her vintage rentals. It was pouring that day and not only did she forget about our appointment, she left us out in the rain until she could open her garage. Once in her garage she was condescending and non-​interested in getting to know us or even what we were wanting or needing. The whole time there was a sales pitch and her attitude was overall just rude. I had to mention multiple times the colors that I was interested in for my rentals because she wouldn’t listen to me. Her pricing was not set as she quoted me different pricing via email and in person. Overall, Carrie should not be in the wedding industry if she continues to be rude and not listen to the bride.

I wish i could give more Stars for De-​Lighted! Being in the wedding and event industry my self I have worked with Carrie time and time again. I can not say enough kind things for Carrie, she is true to her work, dedicated and passionate!

Carrie from De-​Lighted is a pleasure to work with! She is able to communicate effectively and execute amazing results! She is not limited to what she can do and is always wanting to do more for her clients to always give them that WOW factor! I have hired the company De-​Lighted multiple times for events and/​or weddings and have never been let down by the quality of service and the above and beyond customer care she gives! 5 stars all the way!

I was unfortunately underwhelmed by the services provided for our wedding last month at Arroyo Trabuco. I ordered up-​lighting and 30 paper lanterns for around $ 600. Our colors were wisteria, willow and cream so we were supposed to get light lavender and dark purple lanterns. Somehow dark blue, dark purple and light lavender got ordered. Dark blue wouldn’t have matched so I went with Carrie’s suggestion of cream instead of dark blue which was totally fine. When the lanterns were hung, they weren’t hung one lantern per wire like all the photos I had seen, but 2 or three stacked on top of each other per wire. I feel this was done to save time, as she had already iterated to me that the lanterns were a pain to put up.
The up-​lighting would have been great if it was a night time reception. The reception started around 4:30pm, and with all the beautiful natural light coming in from the giant windows of the ballroom, the lighting was unnecessary and unnoticeable. When I saw it later in the evening when it was dark, it looked absolutely wonderful with the amber tones. Unfortunately everyone had left at that point. I just wish someone would have told me that it was too early for the up-​lighting and suggested something else. I feel like it was a waste of money.

Dont waste your time looking at other lighting services and rentals. I rarely write a review but Carrie from De-​lighted was awesome. She makes you feel like a million bucks, makes you feel like your event is as special to her as it is to you and has the most affordable prices I found in all of so cal. Carrie went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, even at the last minute. I wish other companies could take a page out of De-lighted’s book, I couldn’t ask for more.

Carrie and her team did an amazing job! Everything was very detailed and gorgeous! She was very nice to work with and always answered all my questions in a timely manor. Carrie did the day-​of coordination at my wedding, and she did over and beyond what we expected. Being in school and working full time up until a week before the wedding, and opting to do a lot of things on our own (i.e.reception flowers), I was worried about how complicated our «small» wedding was turning out to be. Carrie tied all the loose ends. She was available for even the most trivial question, and was definitely a joy to work with. She even made sure that my family, who is ALWAYS late for everything, made it to all the events EARLY! She also did the lighting at the reception, as well as set up my sweets table. Not only did it save me a lot of time and money to coordinate with just one vendor for these, but it also gave me peace of mind, knowing I had someone as efficient and talented as Carrie taking charge.
