This is the second time I’m using Kingdom Flooring, The first was 2012 and it was a new house with no installed flooring so relatively easy. I was generally happy. Last month I used them on another new house, but the left a total mess and the work is unfinished. It’s been 3 weeks since they left and I paid the entire amount, but they have not returned to finsih the job or clean up the mess they left on my pavers. Julio, the owner, is knowledgeable and his pricing is good. However, DONOT pay him in full until every single item is complete. He’s a friend of a friend and I trusted he was going to be a man of his word, but that was a mistake. I don’t tolerate excuses in my business, but that’s all I’ve heard. Bottom line is that as long as you owe him money, he’ll answer the phone and be attentive. I hope to reverse this review, but I’m not convinced. Next steps are to report him to Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Whatever disocunts I received are going to be used up to clean up the mess and complete the work.

I used this company several years ago and have also referred them to family, friends and clients for years. UNFORTUNATELY, my most recent client is a victim of the owners divorce or personal issues, not sure my client knows what to believe. She has been living in a total disaster and having to listen to the LIES the owner has told her. I feel horrible that people could treat their customers so horribly and force them to live in conditions that are not suitable for their young children. The cabinets were installed wrong, the ceiling was scraped around the existing fixtures, they took material back that my clients had already paid for, and they damaged existing lines and fixtures as they worked. Seams like they sub-contract work out to unreliable craftsmen. Although I had a good experience with this company, that was TOO long ago and I feel that this company and its owners are letting their personal problems, that they speak of freely, to effect their customers and the well being of innocent people! The quality of work has diminished and they customer service is lack there of. Be sure to keep searching when you are offered an unbeatable price from this company, the price surely reflects the quality and service!!!

So I needed went to Kingdom Floorings website and read about all these«great reviews» so I decided to give them a try. Norma, the owner or worker came over and gave me an estimation and we agreed on them installing my carpeting and putting in baseboards. During the installation, Norma came by and I gave her the payment(which I regretfully did especially because they were still working on the house). Once the work was done, I discovered that the workers had put some holes and dents into the walls from removing the old baseboards. Not only that, but they ran out of baseboards to install in the master bathroom. They informed me that Norma would be in touch with me and would send someone out. I waited and waited and finally got in touch with me and said someone was going to be in the area to fix it. I ended up not hearing anything. I started to email her and she replied saying she was swamped with work and would get back to me. That was over FOURMONTHS ago! and still no response even though I have sent emails including pictures and phone calls. It’s pretty disappointing to see that the workers did decent work and that damage to property does occur accidently on occasion, but because of management and their lack of communication, I will NEVER use them again and I do know quite a bit of people in the real estate industry that I will never recommend to this company. With the contract, Kingdom said I have a two year warranty. I am pretty sure that warranty is not valid especially since they can’t even complete their original job. Im going to just consider this a $ 1000 lesson.

I called and asked for an estimate for carpet & tile flooring, they made me an appt between certain hours on a certain day. I sat and waited for them and no one shows up even an hour after their time frame that they gave me. So I gave them a call and they tell me «sorry we had an emergency» I didnt know that I made an appt with a doctor that takes up emergency calls, what kind of emergency’s do carpet installation people have. The son of the owner«the manager» was not very good with customer service at all either. Regardless to say I told them if this is how they do business I would rather take my business else where. First impression says a lot about a business.

So they’ve come out and looked at the floors and claim it’s the fault of the manufacturer. Both the manufacturer and the installer are now blaming each other and had a third party inspector come out and inspect the flooring. That was over 1.5months ago. The inspector stated that he likely would have the report done within two weeks. I have no heard back from them on the outcome of the report and they have not returned my calls. I just called them again today to find a live person. The son of the owner was very unhelpful, would not even look to see if the report was available and simply stated that they are on vacation. He wouldn’t even look up my file to see if there were any updates. I’m starting to think I was some kind of horrible dictator in another life to have deserved this.
