History

Established in 2002.

The owner and proprietor of Look Signs and Graphics, Chris McNeil, has over 25 years experience in the sign industry.

Apprenticed to a Master Craftsman in his native country of Australia in 1980, Chris learned the age-​old skills of the traditional art of creating hand painted signs before the industry was turned on its head by the digital revolution. After some initial resistance («It’ll never catch on…»), Chris realized he needed to embrace the new technology that was sweeping the sign business or get left behind. He’s been using this combination of new technology and old school flair ever since.

In 1992 he formed Signtific Signs in Perth, Western Australia, which flourished for 8 years through the difficult economic environment that was prevalent in Australia in the 90’s. After selling Signtific Signs in 2000, Chris traveled extensively before meeting his wife to be in New York City. They now live in Mission Viejo, California with their two children.
