Lotus Senior Care

One of the best decisions I ever made was moving my elderly father from a large Senior Care Facility to Lotus Senior Care. Through my profession I had seen many mediocre and poor homes like these, but through an acquaintance’s recommendation and after some less than acceptable occurrences at the large facility, I decided to give Lotus Senior Care a try. I saw immediate positive changes in my father physically, mentally and hygienically. The owner and the staff there provide the warmest, cleanest environment you could ever imagine in a facility like this. My father was treated like family and was regularly surrounded by daily activities including visits by children, pets, musicians, physical therapists etc. I have so many great photos of him looking so happy there. Everything was taken care of and all in the best interest of each tenant. Even doctor and dentist appointments could be conducted onsite. My Father eventually passed away, making it almost to 95. He spent his last years in the best situation I could have ever asked for. Thank you Rita and all the staff at Lotus Care. –Stephen

My 91 year old grandmother just moved into the Mission Viejo location about a week and a half ago. It was such a difficult decision to even consider a board and care home. My mother, aunt and I searched high and low for a good place. There are so many places out there that should not be in business! We came across Lotus. All of our prayers were answered when we found them! Rita the owner is a gift from God. She is running a top notch home with exceptional care! I went to see my grandmother the second day she was there and she was so happy! The staff there is the best, they care so much about the residents. They did so much to make my grandmother feel welcome and at home. Rita and her staff are very attentive, professional and put the residents needs above all. I would never imagine I could be so happy and feel so good about my grandmother going to a place like this. The home is clean, bright, beautiful, updated and welcoming. The backyard has an amazing garden with a huge fountain. It has many seating options for you to visit privately with your family. Rita gets an A+ for attention to detail. The other residents are well taken care of and are happy. She has created a little piece of heaven for our loved ones to call their forever home until they make the journey to heaven. Thank you Rita and Lotus for giving my family the piece of mind we have needed for a long time! We can sleep good at night knowing she is in good loving hands!

My grandma passed away today and I wanted to write a review of the board and care facility she’s been living at for the past 3 years.
It took me a tour of 14 facilities when I was searching for a home for grandma. Lotus was the first one I saw and was the one I returned to over and over again. At the time, they didn’t have an opening but we waited, and I’d have to say, it was THE absolute best decision I’d ever made in my life.
The caregivers here are of the utmost quality in terms of their attention towards the residents, the fact that they treat them like their own family is what makes me so grateful towards them. It is bad enough having to leave your loved ones in the care of strangers, but worse when your loved ones are treated badly (which was what happened at a facility my grandparents were at previously) so to actually have people who genuinely care about the quality of life your loved one receives is more than one can ask for.
Rita Lee, the owner and administrator of Lotus is a loving, caring and professional woman who, from day one was truly considerate and concerned of my grandma’s care, as well as for my well being.
This facility houses 6 residents in a beautiful home within a serene environment. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a home for their elderly loved ones. Lotus has another facility located in Huntington Beach.
