I am so glad I found this office. Everyone, from the staff to Dr. Orr herself, are very kind and attentive. I felt like I was actually listened to, not just «yessed» around with guesses thrown at me. This was such a pleasant experience, and this is coming from someone who freaks out at the idea of going to the doctor.

I was also a Dr Sinchai patient, who I loved, so I was disappointed when she left. But I have found Dr. Orr to be everything Dr. Sinchai promised and more. I agree with the other reviewers that she is thorough, compassionate, listens attentively and takes all of my concerns (and they can be a little off-​the-​wall as I have a tendency towards anxiety!) very seriously with no hint of irony or impatience at all. But she is also a calm, no-​nonsense, no-​drama kind of person which is exactly what I need in a primary care physician to keep me calm!
She is highly experienced and knowledgable, and I feel like I am in extremely competent, trustworthy hands with her. I feel like I can take all the time I need to go through my issues with her and know she is going to come up with the most sensible and knowledgeable course of action. Cant recommend her highly enough.
She has moved offices to Mission Viejo now from Irvine, which has extended my drive from 5 mins to 20, but she is definitely worth it.
Oh, and Melissa! She’s just wonderful!

Dr. Orr is one of the best doctors I’ve been to. She listens to you and she does what is best for your health while paying attention to your concerns. The staff is friendly and attentive.

I started out seeing Dr. Sincha, who I felt was an amazing doctor in so many ways. Just as I was relieved to have finally found a doctor I trusted and loved, she took a leave of absence and informed me that she chose Dr. Orr to cover for her because she had a similar style in the way she practiced medicine. After having seen Dr. Orr a couple of times now, I think she was definitely right.
Not only is Dr. Orr extremely thorough, she is also a great listener and really pays attention to the concerns that are most important to me. As a nurse, I’ve seen all sorts of doctors and can easily identify the good from the bad. I have a lot of respect and appreciation for this one.
The front office person and medical assistant are also very kind, respectful, and do a great job at keeping me from waiting too long for any of my requests.
I drive 15 miles to this office to see them and will gladly drive the additional 5 miles when they move back to their Mission Viejo office.

Referred to Dr. Orr as was looking for a new primary doctor. Staff is amazing — welcoming and friendly. They definitely show they care. Dr. Orr took time with me and explained and answered any questions that I had. She is very caring, listens and does not rush you. So glad to have found this practice and know that there is a caring doctor and practice to rely on.

Dr. Orr and her staff are extraordinary. They are a well oiled team with one fundamental goal at the fore of why they exist — to keep my family healthy.
Dr. Orr is not only highly accomplished and knowledgeable on a wide range of medical matters, she’s insightful, intuitive and compassionate. Whether we’re managing appointments and insurance with the front desk, sharing our medical concerns with her phenomenal assistant Melissa, or being examined by Dr. Orr, we are confident that we are in the best hands and that she and her staff will do what it takes to remedy whatever it was that initiated our visit.
While visiting with Dr. Orr it’s as if I am her ONLY concern and that nothing and no one exists outside the examination room. Logically, I know Dr. Orr has other patients to attend to, but she make me feel as if I’m her only patient and spends as much time with me as my medical concern requires. In my short sixty years of seeing doctors I have never experienced anything like it.
Anyone can find and pay for a competent doctor, but it’s a rarity to discover someone who excels AND genuinely cares.
My family, mother-​in-​law, and I all rely on Dr. Orr for our primary care and could not recommend her any more enthusiastically.

Avoid Dr. Orr and her staff. They are not professional, rude, and lack of organization. I wasted my time and effort trying to get medical service. Wishing Dr. Sinchai come back soon.
I need to see a specialist on Dr. Sinchai’s recommendation prior to her personal leave. Got the test results on Jan, had it fax over to Dr. Orr (her replacement) and leave a message to follow up. Called the office, the assistant said they didn’t receive the fax which was false. Waited for another week, called again, finally she confirmed it was there the previous week. So I wasted two weeks to confirm that you have the paperwork sitting there. I waited to talk to Dr. Orr about the result. Melissa told me to go back to the specialist and talk to her. I explained that I wanted the DR. but Melissa kept on repeating that I had to go back to the specialist. Again I wasted my time and effort to talk to the assistant.
To my surprise, I got a call yesterday March 6, Two Months after the initial call to Dr. Orr’s office. Melissa asked if I like to make an appointment to see the doctor now. I said that was the point now when I was refused/​blocked from seeing the doctor back in January. Oh Melissa said she forgot to mention that I could have see Dr. Orr or go back to the specialist. This option was not even given to me in Jan. Needless to say, I went elsewhere for medical service. Overall, please avoid this office until Dr. Sinchai is back.

I am so happy that I found Dr. Orr. She is a gem as is her very friendly and professional staff. I see her at her new office in Irvine on Odyssey. She doesn’t rush you, listens carefully and is thorough in providing care. She and her staff are an example of what medical care should look like.

I am very happy I found Dr Orr. She is now my family doctor. Her new office is in Irvine. She takes my insurance. Very friendly staff and front desk. Clean and professional. I feel I am getting high quality care and medical advice to stay healthy. They saw me on time.

Dr. Orr is such a good doctor! She is kind, cares, intelligent, and listens. So thankful to have her as my doctor for the past 20 years and I refer all my friends and family to her.

Yesterday was my first appointment here. Dr. Orr and her assistant Melissa were substituting for Dr. Sinchai and her staff while she was on leave of absence. Melissa (medical assistant) was wonderful, very positive and friendly. Dr. Orr on the other hand was not. She was very judgmental, tested me on my anatomy and I really did not feel comfortable around her. I went in for my yearly physical and was very nervous to see a new doctor. Dr. Orr made the whole process uncomfortable and made me feel like my opinion on my health didn’t matter. She is a knowledgeable person but lacks friendliness, communication skills and a positive attitude. I walked out feeling horrible and regretting why I even chose this practice.

Dr. Margo Orr is an outstanding doctor who goes far above and beyond to care for her patients. Her experience, knowledge and continual research for her patients makes her one of the finest doctors in Orange County. The other review is referring to her old practice in RSM. Dr. Orr has a new practice in Mission Viejo, across the street from Trabuco Hills High School, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If it was possible we would not hesitate to give more than 5 stars. We, and several of our neighbors, are all talking about the fact that we are so thankful that Dr. Orr started a new practice.

Since management/​ownership (not exactly sure) changed with this group, my family and my experiences have been rife with poor follow up on referrals, call backs, and billing issues. Being finally frustrated to the point of feeling the need to call in and share the displeasure, I spoke with the office manager whose attitude made it very evident that she was more bothered with the fact that she was receiving criticism than she was in addressing the frustrations of a patient.
****Kevin O says that I am posting a review regarding Dr. Orr’s new location, but the address listed for the posting I left is still the old location so that’s where my review stays. A message came from Dr. Orr’s office alluding to this same matter. I explained my opinion, the fact that I acknowledged the change of management/​ownership, but that I also felt the transition was very poor. We basically got a letter saying we’re being transferred to this new provider. No advice was offered to whether there would be a new office in a different location, if there were an option to move etc. My suggestion to the person reaching out to me was that the «new» office contact the old one to have the name changed on Unilocal.I was also suspect as to the full extent of the ownership transition as the RSM location suggests that Dr. Orr still is part of the new group but works now in a different capacity.
The vagueness and ambiguity in which this whole matter has been handled is not at all appreciated and I changing doctors because of this.
Again…very disappointed.
