Specialties
As parents we want the very best for our children. We look at the world and think «how can I give my kids an edge that will help them stay safe and develop to their full potential?»
Professional Karate Schools of America is a nationwide organization specializing in helping our children improve concentration, self-discipline, respect, leadership skills, focus, self-confidence and physical fitness through teaching traditional martial arts.
At PKSA we practice the traditional Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do in the Moo Duk Kwan style, «The Way of the Open Hand to Defend and Strike.» The Moo Duk Kwan style of Tang Soo Do was established by Supreme Grandmaster Hwang Kee in 1945 as both a hard and soft style martial art. It derives its hardness in part from the traditional Korean martial art Subak and its soft flowing movements from the northern Chinese Wu Shu Kung Fu.
