This is a dive bar and I am rating it as such. The bathrooms are beat to hell and it’s not in a pretty location, but again, it’s a dive bar and that’s what you’re getting.
If you can’t except everything that comes with a dive bar, don’t go to dive bars.
That said, what plays a huge part of making any bar great? The bartender. The gal working last night was named Janeen, I believe.
She was fantastic. Not only engaging and nice to us, but likewise to everybody else in the place. She really set the tone and energy for the evening. People are what makes bars great, and that’s tougher to find these days.

Real cool local bar. No drama or nonsense here. Great place to chill out and listen to the juke box. Very professional staff, fantastic drinks and prices. Highly recommend it.

Shittiest bar I have ever been too. Mission viejo has many bars to offer. I am from Portland Oregon and my girlfriend is from mission viejo. I have been to 4 bars here and they have all been awesome. This is the one bar that was not satisfying. If I come back, I will choose to go to a bar that serves quality drinks

Unfortunately if you are unable to provide only a US proof of residency you are unable to enter the bar. We had friends down from Canada for the Holidays and just wanted to shoot a few rounds of pool. To our disappointment, our friends were denied entry from by Jen simply due to the fact that our friends were from Canada. Although our friends provided their drivers licenses and passports, they were denied entry as they were not US citizens. We have never experienced such discrimination and are embarrassed as a county in front of our friends. We will never return to this bar after what happened. Happy holidays and hope you never experience such blatant discrimination abroad.

Great dive bar around the area — only got to visit once and will definitely be back more and update my review in the future. First visit was pleasant except for the yelling drunk customer but overall the bartender was awesome! Super accommodating and made sure we were always taken care of and drinks were ice cold. I forgot to grab her name to compliment her awesome service — she worked Thursday’s only though. Will be back soon for sure!

My new favorite full bar. The bartender was awesome, especially having been there over 30 years. She had the kind of personality that brings me back for more. The were a few regulars there, but they were respectful and kept the conversation to themselves. Some Preppies came in in buttoned-​down shirts and Dockers but they stayed for a little while, too. But that says a lot about the chill personality of the bar.
This is now my new bar. And don’t forget to ask what’s in the crock pot for today. That’s right, I said crock pot. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

i have been going to shooters for about 7 months now and its probably the only bar in the area that never fails! i usually go between 9pm and 11pm and stay until either jen or sandy calls last call. cheap beer, good quality made drinks, good music on the jukebox, and the bartenders never fail and holding good convos and still making sure no one has an empty glass or bottle. i would highly suggest going to shooters with a few freinds any night!

Usual «dive-​bar» in Southern Orange County. Was greeted by a drunk girl asking to check my ID. It seemed rude, but I realized it was only a joke. $ 1 a game for pool which was awesome. Stuck with bottled beers, but bought a few grape kamikazes which were surprisingly good and strong. Friendly people, nice bartender. Pool tables definitely add a lot to this bar. Located in a dinky little place, and the bar seemed old. Good place to go to for late nights when nothing in this town is open beside T.G.I.Friday’s. Over all an «OK» place. Will return for pool and meet some friendly people.

if you want outta the way and under the radar dive bar action this is your spot… old and funky with a dash of cheap and obscure is my kinda night from time to time… three decent pool tables with ok house sticks… cheap drinks via a competent & nice bartenderess… what more does one need… chaching!

I like this bar because none of my friends go there. .. SO YOU MAKE NEW ONES. It’s very easy… You go on Sundays or Mondays when «T» works. . The End. Or if you make it through the next shift a glorious barbie doll named Mara works. They’re my favorites. Oh can forget Jen. Nicest booty in Orange County hands down! That’s right! I said it! Drinks are inexpenciveand there’s no need for food. Drink up! And once you’ve had enough… Drink some more. This place is great.

Oh my God.
This is diviest, most disgusting bar in South OC… and I like dive bars.
Imagine walking into a dark, late-1980’s style bar packed with middle-​aged white trash and a bunch of cholos hanging out, but the bar being really quiet and feeling like everyone is looking at you… that’s this place.
I walked right in, and walked right out.
Creepy, gross, horrible crowd — don’t go there.
