The UPS Store

I really like this UPS store because of the small things, like keeping track of places where I send packages the most. So it is easier and quicker to get in and out. They Now have a new look. I also like the fact I don’t need to bring my own packing materials. Not to mention the other services like PO Boxes, key cutting, and more.

The store was crowded with no less that 20 people waiting in line. only two employees were in the store and only one was working a register. The store itself was cluttered and disorganized selling religious paraphernalia including tee shirts, bibles, greeting cards, and speed camera license plate spray. The employee at the counter was not empathetic to my needs and continued answering phones and selling Western Union moneygrams. I was not given a tracking number for my package, and frankly i have little confidence that it will arrive at its destination. I have visited several other UPS stores and i will continue to give my business to all but this location.

they move slow as molasses here. slower. i think you could probably get the gunk from the tree, cook or whatever has to be done to it to purify it/​make it FDA approved for selling, bottle it and ship it to distributor stores, and you’d still be finished before the people who work in this UPS store complete your transaction. yes, they are THAT SLOW! *huff*eyeroll*huff*
i’ve only gone here out of desperation or convenience (location, not schedule, obviously) any time i’ve gone to this store after my first visit — and that hasn’t been often. i’m giving them 2 stars instead of just 1 b/​c while they are painfully slow during the in-​store part of the service, i’ve never actually had any problem with my packages getting to where they need to go on time. recipients always get what i’m sending when they’re supposed to get it and w/​o any damage (i’ve had to have a few odd shaped and/​or fragile things sent and have used the store’s packing services for same).
while the staff is usually pretty friendly or at least neutral, they are totally unprofessional. and there is one lady who clearly would rather be anywhere else but working there. also, they will tell you that notary is only there on X days at Y times, but she never, ever is. she is like mr. suffleupagus was on sesame street as big bird’s imaginary friend (only if you’re old enough to remember SS before it got all modern and elmofied where now everyone knows snuffy and elmo is a bigger star than big bird and cookie monster and oscar the grouch combined — blasphemy!).

–if you need a notary, go somewhere else
–if the post office scares you, this might be a little less scary, but only a little
–if you have tons of time and need to mail stuff you can’t figure out how to pack, give this place a try
oh, and they are not closed — IDK why Unilocal’s listing says that. kind of surprising they are still in business, but they are very much open.
