La Quinta Inn & Suites Moab

Everything was pretty great, accept one thing… I’ll follow that up at the end.
The property was very clean and nicely decorated. I like the always-​available coffee in the lobby.
The room was nice. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were great.
The breakfast was tasty. Lots to choose from. I always like the make-​your-​own waffles :).
The only negative I had was that we purchased through PRICELINE, but the check-​in clerk pre-​authorized my credit card for the entire stay, then the check out clerk charged my card for the room that I had already pre-​paid for. The check out clerk wasn’t very knowledgeable and should have probably been trained better/​or had someone with her at all times during training. It took a long time for them to fix the problem and I’m still not sure it is fixed. I’m going to double check my credit card statement. I fear that if it is still wrong, I will have a battle because of the small staff with limited experience with billing errors.
I would still come back :)

Pretty good place! Nice spot (brewery across the road is delicious), friendly service, and extremely clean rooms. Our 2 queen bed room was spacious and very, very clean. Beds are super comfy (as with most La Quintas) and we didn’t want to leave them. Breakfast in the morning was okay– I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. The best part was the local salsa! Good choice for staying in such a great town.

Clean and friendly. Book ahead and get treated very well. The room was nice, the staff was friendly.
The FREE breakfast was just as expected. Standard fare but very welcoming when trying to keep up with a fully packed itinerary.
The courtesy hot drinks station was also a God send on a couple of evenings also.
The heated pool and hot tub were deliciously revitalizing and necessary at the end of everyday action filled day.
I must warn you though, have a reservation, even if it’s one you made in the parking lot from your phone.
The front desk personnel were less than welcoming to unexpected guests that checked in the evening we were in the lobby coming back from dinner out.
We waited to buy some late night movie snacks from the hotel concessions and were forced to overhear the argument between new customer and clerk.
They were charged more than twice the price we had paid for the same type of rooms on the same floor as ours.

Got a reservation, car show this weekend… a lot were booked! Second… Emailed my reservation… I was in Gunnison! Third… easiest book in I’ve seen… clean appearance though they permit pets… a plus for use though we don’t have «Moe» with us. Fourth… got to room… pleasantly surprised. Clean, what we wanted, non smoking double queen!!! Amenities: Iron, Ironing board, Flat Screen, Direct TV, Free WIFI plenty of towels, Microwave, Blow dryer, Air conditioning, coffee maker n coffee Desk, Desk chair, small Fridge WOW… VERY DELIGHTED!!! wife n I are happier than a Hobo eating a ham sandwich.

This hotel is clean friendly, free wifi. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Definitely will come again. Knowing its pet friendly is a great plus. The wifi is quick with no hassle

Clean, good location, functional rooms. I’ve stayed in no less than a dozen Moab hotels over the last decade — this one is one of the better ones.
The breakfast? Nourishing — I saw some negative reviews — I think most of you know you weren’t going to get salmon and eggs Benedict. It’s on par with a Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Etc. Waffles, yogurt, shelf stable bagels, etc. If you want true health food, you should probably bring your own stuff.

We like la Quinta hotels and this is one of our favorites. Friendly staff, they accept dogs, hot breakfast and they just remodeled. There’s a grassy patch for pets to play and even a short trail for hikes. The breakfast is ok — a good variety but does get old after a few mornings. The food manager makes her own salsa for everyone to enjoy on their eggs and it is amazing. She sells it in the hotel store. The room remodel is great. Very stylish and the beds are comfortable. A great place to stay!

We stayed here for 3 reasons:
1. Free breakfast — it was a pretty solid one at that. One of the ladies who runs the kitchen has her homemade salsa out to eat with your eggs each morning. I thought it was delicious and she sells it in the hotel store if you want to take some to go.
2. Pet friendly — we brought our dog on our trip to Arches and Canyonlands and they are always accomodating and cheap.
3. Price — they are always so reasonable and seriously, this place was clean, quiet and newer. I’m so glad we didn’t stay elsewhere for more $$$.
I would highly recommend this hotel and stay here again if we go back to Moab.

There is absolutely no way I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to get onto the Internet post pictures check their mail business or anything else. It is absolutely the worst Internet service I have ever had in my entire life and I’ve been to a lot of places in the United States some of her dumps but the Internet service was it least good here they better put some repeaters down the hall ways every 25 feet up it is absolutely ridiculous nice rooms absolutely for Internet service terret down start over

We came during Jeep week so we could only stay one night. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We will be coming back to this hotel. We wished we could have stayed longer but the hotel was booked.

Decent sized, clean room and respectable customer service. The room has a flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave. Theres a small gym and pool downstairs, as well as free WiFi. Theres plenty of restaurants nearby and it is about 5 minutes away from Arches National Park and about 30 minutes from Canyonlands. The price is a bit high. If you don’t mind the price much because you are considering the money you’d save because of the free breakfast, (like we did) think again. The breakfast is, at best, ok… something to fill you up to start the day. They serve powdered eggs (not real eggs), sausages, breads, bagels, cereals, yogurts, orange juice, coffee and tea. You could also make your own waffles. If I didn’t know enough about nutrition, I would probably say this is an awesome breakfast. But i do read labels and I know more about GMOs and artificial ingredients, so the breakfast they serve is simply horrible for me. The best thing they do have for breakfast — bananas. I’d probably stay here again if the price is lower than the others in the area. I’ve gone to Arches 3 times in the past 4 years and I’ve stayed in 2 other hotels that does not serve breakfast. Those other hotel’s prices are lower.

Thank god. Somewhere clean and airy with a good amount of room to breathe. We’ve been on the road for a few days and the places we have to choose from along the way are horrible that allow dogs. Most of those places are so dirty and have that funky closed in smell. Not here. This place feels fresh! This place is great for me and for the pups. No pet fee. No weight restrictions. Remodeling is happening so if fresh paint bothers you. Maybe wait a few months. If come back here in a snap.

This place is under total renovation. The paint fumes are so thick there is a haze through out. My eyes started to water. The parking lot is totally closed with fences and construction vehicles. There should have been full disclosure before we booked. Book with caution.

It’s a shame.
I stay at a lot of La Quintas. This is a very nice facility. Unfortunately, it is pet friendly. As in dogs. Lots of dogs. We got a room on the third (top) floor. I specifically asked because my wife is allergic to animal dander. I was told that animals were given rooms on the first floor. Sometimes the second. Never the third.

Two other dogs were barking outside my door at 5:30 in the morning.

Next time I’ll choose a hotel that is human friendly.

A very nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay in a good location. We needed a dog friendly hotel and this was perfect for us. There were lots of places to walk the dog, so this worked out very well.
The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. They had a nice breakfast buffet.
Based on our experience at this hotel, we will look to stay at La Quinta hotels during our future travels.

A good no-​frills option for lodging if you’re in Moab to visit the Arches National Park and Canyonlands. The location is convenient since it’s right on main street… a quick drive to good restaurants. In late May, rooms here are pricey (for a La Quinta) and they get booked up early so plan ahead if you’re planning to come here. There have some good perks like free wifi, laundry (which was highly appreciated!), big bedroom room, spacious bathroom, empty fridge (that wasn’t filled with mini-​bar staff), and microwave. On top of that they’re dog-​friendly. Only weird thing was the vanity was part of the bedroom space not the bathroom area. If you have an early riser in your group and they’re getting dressed, it’s hard not to disturb your companions.

We took my dad to Moab and it was an unexpected part of our road trip, so I made this reservation about 5 days before we went. It was $ 200 a night and I figured that is what it was for being in Moab, so once I brace myself, I won’t spend the time fretting over a few extra dollars.
The guy that checked us in was okay, not too much sense of humor, I could tell he rubbed my tired dad the wrong way. We got to the third floor and put the AC on, which at 3:00 am we all were standing around it wondering why it was now 75 in there and were all sweating. It was not the best sleep I have had. The beds were on the harder side but it was a clean and comfortable room for the most part.
The free breakfast was okay, it was actually the smallest free breakfast selection I had seen since I started my trip, but it worked for us.
At one point there were kids running down the hall screaming for their dad and he was yelling back, and I wondered how that was going to go, since we could hear the next rooms tv going. It was surprisingly quiet after that.
It is in a good location to restaurants and Moab is so small I guess you could say that about any hotel there. I would consider staying again, but not too sure, with more time I would have shopped it out against other places in Moab.

I’ve always enjoyed staying at this hotel and have stayed numerous times. Their suites are fantastic and their basic rooms are clean and spacious, and comfortable. The hotel staff is SO friendly and they accommodate anything and anyone. They are also PET FRIENDLY! Yay! And are so great about them too. All their staff has always loved our pets and give them treats as well as offered to watch them while we had the complimentary breakfast… which is AWESOME, by the way.
This is my first and only pick for hotels when I need one in Moab. It’s also the one I recommend to all the people I know. They will give group discounts. And yes, I have stayed in the other hotels before finding this one!
The parking lot is huge and there are local restaurants right there in the lot or across the street. You can walk anywhere from their location, and there’s a place to exercise your dog as well that’s really nice… along with a play set for kids. And there’s an outdoor pool.
