AutoNation Ford Mobile

This is for the collision center on Govt Blvd. Very glad I chose this place. Rachel was very quick with getting me in and out for the estimate and for just a bumper replacement, they completed the job very quickly. My truck looks great and I have no issues. Everyone in the office was polite and helpful.

I had 2 recalls on my car and a dead battery. I dropped my car off and requested a diag done to see why my battery kept dying. Turns out it was just a completely dead battery! Quick and professional. Thanks Gregory!

Stay away from this dealership. I bought a 2014 e250 with 25k miles, from them recently and it was missing the spare. As a condition to buying this van, I asked them to order me a spare. Well, they indeed ordered me a spare, and when I came to pick it up, I was dumbfounded to find out It was from a junk yard. It was extremely dirty and the tire was dry rotted and bald. I will NEVER be back! I knew I should have gone to Mullinax.
Update:
Someone from Auto Nation for left a message below to call the GM. I’m not going to do that. Not only because I read another review where they did that and the GM never called them back, but also I’ve already had a new tire installed on the junk yard rim at my expense. I asked the Auto Nation person who rolled that piece of junk out to me when I picked it up if that was my tire. His reply with a smile was «Yep». So I took it and wrote my review while sitting in their parking lot.
You only get one shot for my business. Auto Nation Ford blew that when the handed me a dry rotted bald junk yard tire with that smile. I’ve bought two fords at two different ford dealerships here in Mobile AL. Mullinax is definitely the better dealership in my opinion.

Some careless, inconsiderate person hit my husband’s parked truck and left no note. Our insurance company asked us to use Autonation. Since we had been in Mobile for less than a month, we had no preference. Glad we went with Autonation.
Took it for an estimate and made an appointment for a new bumper and side mirror. Dropped the truck off on a Monday and picked it up the following Saturday. It was ready sooner, but the Sat pick up worked best for our schedule.
We were given updates along the way, and the truck looks great.
I do hope we have no need to use their services again. But if another low life should hit one of our vehicles, I would not hestitate to return to Autonation Ford’s Collision Center.

UPDATE!
I finally received an actual phone call from Autonation Ford. Will not be changing the review. Still the same nonsense. I have never purchased a vehicle without a spare key. If AutoNation Ford would have told me that their is no spare key/​FOB, we would not have purchased the vehicle.

My son and I both own Mustangs. My son has a 2011. Well he came to me when he got home from work. Said he has a ticking sound coming from the engine. We had it towed to the dealer to have it looked at since it does have the 100k power train warranty that we paid extra for. Well the keep the car for like 2 day and try to tell my son that the oil filter backed off and drained all the oil out except for a quart. Well 1^st of off the oil filter should not have backed off. 2^nd of all if it got that low on oil the damn light should have came on to warn him. He has the v6 so no gauge just a light that never came on.
They said that they was not gonna warranty it and it was his fault or a faulty oil filter wich it was a K&N filter. I watched him put the filter on and he did a perfect job. I am pissed at this by now. They said that it would be $ 5600 to replace the engine with the labor. I got online on ebay and found a 2014 v6 with 10k on it. Basically a brand new engine for 1800 so we ordered it and had his car towed to a shop that does really great work and he did the engine swap for $ 600 even. Story ends like this. I will never use them again after buying one of the Mustangs brand new from them. I’ll never take any of my ford’s to them for repairs. I will go to Mullinax Ford and be treated better. Also we are thinking to sue them for all the $ we spend to have engine replaced in small claims court.
I wouldn’t give them 1 star but you have to give 1 just to review.

I love my vehicle I got there, and I got a great price on it, BUT customer service is extremely poor there I couldn’t hardly get phone calls back I had to call over and over to get someone to talk to me, we drove 2 hours and the sales knew we were on our way but when we get there he is no where to be found so we’re waiting like an hour to even get started which normally wouldn’t bother me but considering I have 2 baby’s it was a little frustrating, then I felt like they wouldn’t work with us at all (the finance department is the WORST) he kept trying to get us to buy extra crap after I said no about 50x and haggling the price to try to get us to so we ended up walking out and we were chased down and after 8 hours ended up leaving with our vehicle. I wouldn’t go here again personally that isn’t the experience I want I have to have good customer service, but the vehicle we got is a good one so I’m thankful for that I guess all the trouble was worth it.

I was looking to purchase a used truck and the used car manager at Autonation Ford made the best deal in town. As usual with best deals, they could not deliver. After several days of excuses I told the salesman that I was going elsewhere. All he could say was «I’m sorry»
Needless to say, even if I want a Ford product I will shop elsewhere.

I unfortunately have had to use many body shops over the years and I will have to rank AutoNation Ford in Mobile as one of the better experiences I have had. As a USAA member I can only take my car to approved body shops and this was the only one in the area that i haven’t tried out yet (I’m not a bad driver, the rest of the world is) so I thought I would give them a try. My 4 stars would have been 5 but they were booked up a few weeks out so it took a little longer to get my car into the shop to be fixed. However once I did drop it off they turned around and fixed it in an adequate amount of time per the damage to the vehicle. If you choose to do business here ask for Rachel Boyington, she did a great job keeping in touch with me and handling the process through my insurance company.

I have been shopping around for a new Ford for about a year, and after talking with salespeople at several dealerships I can say that those at AutoNation Ford are the absolute best, especially Steven Adams. As a first time buyer they made me feel very comfortable during every step of the process from test drive to signing the final paperwork. They will do everything in their power to get you exactly what you want without just telling you what you want to hear. I’d recommend AutoNation Ford to anyone. Very positive experience

I had written a previous post about my experience here which was horrible and a Christina M from AutoNation Ford Mobile commented that I should call the General Manager to see if they could make my experience a positive one. Her comment was clearly disingenuous because I tried calling the General Manager. I called 5 times and left 3 voicemails (when it was confirmed that he was in the office) and he IGNORED all of them. A week later Lester called me on the «GM’s behalf». Lester looked up my case in the computer and said, «Well I’m not seeing that we did anything to your car so we shouldn’t have charged you.» EXACTLY. Confirmation that nothing was done but Ford still charged me $ 115. Lester later came back and told me that because I had gotten my car fixed somewhere else (for $ 200 instead of $ 700) he couldn’t help me. He said I could bring the car back in and let them fix the window minus the $ 115 but that would still cost me $ 585!!! Do you know how ridiculously stupid that is? I will NEVER EVER go here EVER again and I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience.

I had a great experience at AutoNation Ford. Larry was our salesperson, and he took us out on a test drive, but the Escape we chose was missing the navigation feature that I really wanted. We left to talk it over, and he texted me soon after letting me know that there was another Escape on the lot that had everything I needed. He even sent pictures! We headed back over to take a look, and ended up leaving with a beautiful, brand new, fully loaded Escape.
While everyone is extremely friendly, you still do get the high-​pressure feeling that most dealerships use. They were very patient as my husband pushed back, making sure that all of our questions got answered and our price point was met.
Since then, Larry has followed up with me twice to see if I need any help getting the car figured out or have any questions. That is great service to me — it didn’t end when he got his commission. We will definitely be back there for service needs based on the great sales experience we had.

Great salespeople and staff. They really try and make it work.
