My parents have bought 3 cars from this dealership because it’s the closest one around (god forbid that they drive a half hour across the bay to another one!). In that time, I’ve only seen examples of dishonest dealings from the people here. My dad bought a Jetta for me here, and clearly told them that he intended to ship it out to me in California. The salesman then sold my dad a booklet of coupons for discounted services… for services rendered at their dealership! My dad did ask them several times whether the coupons could be used elsewhere, whereupon the salesman reassured him several times that they could be used anywhere. I received the booklet, and every coupon clearly stated they were only for use at this dealership.
What made me furious was that my dad doesn’t speak English all that well, so the salesman totally took advantage of that.
Next, my parents bought a Kia Sorrento from this godforsaken place. Since they’re getting up there in age (70+), they inquired about getting a side step installed so they can climb into the car more easily. They were quoted what was supposedly the stock price, but when I called the Kia dealership across the bay, the actual stock price is almost $ 100 less than what the people at Dean McCrary quoted.
I told my parents that I’d take it in for them all the way across the bay, because I’ll be damned if my parents spend another dollar at this place.

Why does it always work to where — when you bring your auto in that is UNDER WARRANTY — for an oil change or something — minor they call you 2 hours later to tell you that «Something else» needs to be done and it cost $ 250 to $ 500 dollars. Have not been open on Sat. (but I hear they might open soon)
The point of getting a KIA with such a great warranty — is that stuff is covered. If if you get work done outside of them — is it true that if voids their warranty??? They are friendly in the service dept. and offer drivers to pick you up — but never a loaner auto to use.
