The service and parts department are top notch! I was amazed at how customer oriented everyone was. They welcomed us, made us feel comfortable with the surroundings of the waiting room, kept us informed and explained everything going on with our new Yukon (which is fantastic for a mechanically illiterate person like me)! My only regret is that we didn’t purchase our vehicle from this dealership. I had a terrible experience with the one I purchased our Yukon at. Terrible. So having a minor thing done, I was very skeptical already from the ‘we got your money so it’s not our problem anymore’ dealership we purchased at. Next time, I will definitely be going to them! They will definitely get all my service and parts business from here on out! AND I have already recommended this dealership to many friends and colleagues, which says a lot if you knew the type of business I’m in. Top notch! Thank you!

I love Alfred Matthews service center! The manager Sergio is the absolute best! You can tell that he genuinely wants to help and that he loves his job. He went above and beyond my expectations and I am very grateful. I bought a brand new 2016 terrain last year and something happened to the engine so he replaced it with a brand new one and made sure I was in a loaner car and comfortable in it. He took the time to call me to keep me updated on my car and was super fast about getting me in my car when I was on my way to work and late. I love coming here and recommend them to anyone.

Buying a car can be somewhat stressful. But it wasn’t this time. My salesman Felix was awesome. He was knowledgeable, courteous, very helpful and I never felt any pressure to buy. Felix understands what customer service is all about. All of the staff that I dealt with treated me exceptionally well. Thank you!

Had my mind set on a truck, walked in five hours later had the keys. In addition it was Sunday morning and they were able to talk to banks to get me financed. Very seamless transaction I even had a trade-​in. We will continue to shop at Alfred Matthews, they are highly recommended!!!

In Sept. 2015 my husband contacted the service dept. and manager of Alfred Matthews to let them know that for the 2^nd time when I had my 5000 mi. service that my Terrain had
an oil leak. The manager contacted us immediately and met with me. He offered to send a cleaning crew to clean my garage floor, make it right by providing me with the next 5000 mi. service gratis, plus get my car detailed. They made good on their promise and I want everyone to know that they care about their service, their customers and customer satisfaction Today I give them 5 stars and would give more if I could for keeping their word. I do not have another oil leak either as they found a problem with the seal at my last service.

I had been looking for a new truck for a couple months, at the time was not 100% sure what truck I would get as I was looking at GMC, Dodge, Ford & Chevrolet. I had been to dealership ships up & down the state, found a couple good deals out of state but Texas really is to long of a drive back.
It came down that I was liking the GMC Sierra more and more, one night I had a delivery to my home and the guy drives up in a New Sierra. I asked about his truck, he loved it, said the same thing about the dealership here in the bay area, no one wanted to work a deal, he said he was told to check out Alfred Matthews and that were he bought his. I emailed them that night, next day in the afternoon I was at the dealership to look at a couple trucks and drove home with a new GMC Sierra.
Great people to work with all around from sales, finance, parts & service I have felt like I am a family member with them.

I don’t even know where to begin with this place… they have been wonderful to me! Specifically, I have been working with Sergio Chavez. He has been taking care of my 2004 Cadillac SRX and all the problems that keep occurring. Let’s begin with this…
So I took my car in because of a few leaks, and the car just needed a whole bunch of fixing. Sergio fixed my car in a timely manner and ensured that I was taken car of by lending me one of the dealership’s cars, which was such a blessing. Then after getting my car back, the next day on my birthday, my car experienced more problems. No problem!!! I just called Sergio and he took care of the problem for me at no charge as well as lending me a loaner vehicle. Then today (11÷3÷2015) my car won’t start… I’m very nervous at this point, because what else can go wrong. So decided to get it towed to the Alfred Mathews dealership and give Sergio a heads up. I called Sergio because they always take care of me… sure enough, he says without hesitation «I’ll take a look at it, and I’ll take care of you, and give you a loaner vehicle». This just eases all my worries because, in this day in age, a vehicle is a must.
Sergio Chavez is phenomenal and Alfred Mathews is phenomenal. They have treated me more than just a customer, but as one of their friends. It’s hard to find great business like this. I go to Alfred Mathews for all my car needs. Great job Alfred Mathews… and Sergio Chavez thank you for always helping!

I really wish that Unilocal had the option of giving no stars because this dealership does not deserve any at all.
I have had the worst experience ever with this dealership and their Service Department. Absolutely unacceptable.
I started taking my vehicle here for service after the dealership I purchased it from went out of business. However, I had in the past purchased a brand new truck from Alfred Matthews.
My vehicle had consistant issues and I found myself at Alfred Matthews way to often. The biggest complaint was that my vehicle was burning oil. At the advisement of the Service Department they conducted an Oil Consumption test. After going there every thousand miles to have the oil level checked they determined that the vehicle lost a quart and a half in 5,000 miles. Excessive to me, but apparantly not considered excessive by GM.
One year later and almost at the end of the warranty my vehicle was still burning oil and when checking the oil it was foamy and milky. I immediately brought it back to Alfred Matthews who said that they «couldnt replicate it» I even showed them the pictures that I had taken of it! They told me that they noticed that the oil was low again and started another oil consumption test.
So, again I had to bring the vehicle back every 1,000 miles to have it checked and documented. After the third check (3,000 miles) the car had lost 2 quarts of oil. This according to them is what GM deemed as excessive. I asked them what the next steps were now that my car has lost 2 qts, they argued with me saying that it had not lost 2 quarts even after I showed them the invoice documentation from when I had brought it in. Then they tried to tell me that the test was not valid because they didnt change the oil prior to starting the test? That was NEVER talked about and my vehicle had recently had the oil changed before I brought it in. I had less than 2,000 miles to the end of my 100,000 mile waranty. It was ugly. The Service staff was awful!
Ended up filing a complaint with GM HQ directly, the Better Business Bureau and the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
I worked with GM headquarters and they contacted Alfred Matthews. Funny thing? They admitted to her that there was water in the oil! If there was water in the oil why didnt they address it right away instead of making me come back every thousand miles for a consumption test? Obviously there was an issue with it! They were even rude to the HQ person! Unbelieveable! The lady at GM told me that I could bring it to another dealership if I wanted.
With 1,000 miles until the expiration of my warranty I ended up driving an hour away to another dealership. Best decision ever! They took care of my car, no questions. I showed them all my paperwork and they honored it. Come to find out there was a GM Service Bulletin for my car from 2013!!! (2 years prior) that instructed the dealership to replace the pistons and piston rings due to excessive oil consumption! How did Alfred Matthews not know about or honor this service bulletin? The repairs were all made at no charge to me, they even had to replace my Catalytic Converter because it had melted inside due to the car burning oil for so many years!
Spare yourself the headache and steer clear of this dealership and their Service Department. Drive the extra miles and take your vehicle to any other dealership than this one. Your will be happy you did

Sales team is good without it feeling like a lot of pressure which I really liked. The pricing was good & they had a lot of special offers (like Costco pricing). There’s a television in the lobby & it’s a family-​friendly environment.
Be wary of the financing part. We had a 700+ credit score and an incredibly substantial downpayment ($ 25k on a $ 40k vehicle). Although they HAD a 0% financing offer (a fact I didn’t learn until later directly from Costco), they said the «best» they could give us was 5%. Before you go, contact a credit union or Costco or whatever and see what you qualify for BEFORE you get there. That way they will have to MATCH what you have as opposed to trying to trust them to give you what you fairly qualify for. They did a lot of slippery things in financing that will cost us. Be warned.

The customer service is great, as soon as a arrive a guy name Sergio help me in a very friendly manner. He took care of my truck right away. Everyone said good morning, will be back for sure. Free wifi, coffee clean nice place.

I purchased a truck here that I fell in love with! Exactly a year later (to the month) we decided to upgrade. I went back in and asked about a trade in but they only had brand new $ 60,000. trucks so I asked if they would buy it back. They offered me $ 10,000.00 less than what I purchased it for! I was shocked and irritated at the same time. It had only been 1 year and I had only put about 10,000 miles on it (still only had about 72,000 miles) They suggested I go to carmax so I did and also went to other dealerships as well. One dealer told me he wouldn’t even want my truck! I laughed and asked «why it’s a beautiful truck, lifted, low miles with a 5.3 engine?» He agreed it was a good looking truck but noticed the doors were a different shade/​color compared to the rest of the truck suggesting maybe it had been in an accident before! I had never noticed it before! I still love my truck but feel like I paid way to much for it. I would suggest looking elsewhere when wanting to purchase a vehicle unless you have $ to blow and want to help out the salesmen with their commission. Check out K.B.B. first!

I love getting my oil changed here, yes love. The price is always the same as it should be. No appt. necessary. Friendly staff. Their waiting room is spacious and has a Keurig, cookies, fruit and a TV.

Best customer service! Robert Riley, hands down is amazing with customers. They work with your needs and they wash your car! They have great rates and they know their stuff! Never going anywhere else for any of our car/​truck needs! Thank you everyone at Alfred Mathews for always making us feel like family!

I had an excellent experience with Ricardo! I took my vehicle in got my estimate, which he gave me a date & was 3 days early. We communicated via text, I got an update daily on the progress. The finished job was excellent! Customer service was just wonderful! Thank you Ricardo!

I cant say enough about the professional people that work at this dealership. I give two thumbs up! Three thumbs up, if I had three thumbs :)… Donovan worked me great numbers on the truck I purchased, and even better numbers on my trade-​in. I would like to also thank the other manager Adrian for being honest and helping finish my truck purchase at closing time. Ronny was my salesman, he is I nice person but is slow to call you back so don’t be in a hurry! Very clean dealership that does good honest business. Would highly recommend! Thanks again Donovan.

Bought a 28k truck and didn’t even get out of the parking lot before it had a problem. They assured me that it was fixed and the computer would reset in a few miles. The truck broke down the next day and had it towed to another dealership close to home and they reprogrammed the computer which Alfred Matthews paid for. Less than a month later the problem is back and Alfred Matthews refuses to make the situation right.

Definitely an excellent place to look for a car. Hassle free! Sales Manager Donovan is very pleasant to work with. He provides the excellent service. He is knowledgable, professional, and most importantly, he is very honest. I strongly recommend this dealership.

Worst customer service, arrogant management and their service dept has the rudest and most unhelpful team for Cadillacs. I am going to trade in my CTS for a mercedes just to avoid ever going back to this place!

Best place to take your Cadillac. I live about 25 miles away, can’t stand the GM dealer in Tracy, Ca, so i’m willing to drive for great service. Courteous, clean, knowledgeable, honest. Have been going here sunce Tracy Cadillac closed down. Would recommend to anyone with a GM. They were the ONLY GM dealer that ordered the right part for my Corvette! It was only a screw for the top, but the other 7 times, other dealership’s messed up.
