Where can I begin about Rose, I actually became a client of Rose’s in early 2014. It was my first time getting a brazilian and she had the best reviews on Unilocal.Like any other young woman in her late teens, or well any woman at all, I was terrified of the pain of brazilians but Rose was calm and explained the entire process and talked with me throughout the entire wax.
After that brazilians became a monthly thing for me. They take about 20 minutes now and Rose is more than welcoming and really shows that she’s interested in her clientele’s well-​being not just in their wallets. I have recommended her to my friends and I recommend her to all Unilocalers looking to get waxed!

Rose is simply amazing! After doing my research on Brazilian waxes and looking for a place with good reviews I stumbled across IAA studios. I have been going to Rose for over a year now and I have never had any problems. Hands down she gives the best Brazilian waxes in town! She is very neat & professional and removes all the hair leaving a perfectly smooth finish. I was nervous the first time I went to Rose because you cant trust just anybody with your privates but she made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job! Ive recommended people to her and they are just as pleased as I am with the results. I will never go to anyone else for a Brizilian wax ever! IAA studio is the best in town! She books up really fast but trust me its worth the wait! & she charges less than most places and removes more hair! She is not about nickle and diming you, her main concern is customer satisfaction.

The following is my review of Rose and her prior business, Pele Fina. Just last week I was in Modesto and I was able to get in for a facial, at her new business iaa studio, something I had not done in years now that I live in SoCal (though I continue to exclusively use 302 products on my skin and have shelled out the money for the very expensive LED light for home use.) I had some very bad experience here in SoCal with 302 aestheticians, so I don’t want to risk it and I opt to do it myself. So, without further ado, here is my prior review which still is true to this day — except I haven’t had acne since!

I have been going to Pele Fina for almost 3 years & I don’t know where to begin to describe how wonderful it is: the service, the products, the experience are top notch!
At first, I came in for facials. I had just moved to Modesto & discovered this place & noted how great the reviews were online. I’ve had acne for over 20 years. I usually supplement my chosen acne regimen with facials to get that deep down clean. Over the years I’ve taken tetracycline, amoxycilin, Accutane, ProActiv (infomercial), and the Wexler line (at Bath & Body Works), among many other products trying to manage my skin. On top of it all, I am a picker, so I have 2 types of acne scars that have developed, the acne itself & picking scars. I had no expectations when I came in to see Rose at Pele Fina just wanted a regular old euro facial with extraction.
The difference this time around from all prior facials at other spas? Rose didn’t touch my face, we talked. She asked me a ton of questions before we even started. She got a whole history of my 20 year battle with acne. She examined my skin, we discussed diet, stress, the picking, the products that I used. She took notes on the most current product line I was using. She asked me in depth questions on the products that I didn’t even know the answers to. Then she actually researched them and called me days after that appointment. As I recall, she didn’t do a facial as my skin was so run down from the years of use of acid-​based products (salicylic & glycolic). She told me to finish up my remaining products in my regimen, she told me not to use ANYTHING for a few weeks after that when washing my face (I was horrified, I felt like I oozed oil), gave me some products to use to prep my skin after those weeks and to call back for an appointment for a facial. I was dumbfounded. This woman had just taken a full assessment, explained how my skin could heal, sold me nothing & asked me to make an appointment in the future. I left knowledgeable and yet confused. I’d call her during the detoxic period complaining about the oiliness & she was encouraging & recommended Dawn (yes, the original dishwashing soap) if I absolutely couldn’t handle the oil. And throughout the experience, my most regular question to Rose was «are you sure this is gonna work?» I’d become a master makeup artist over the years to hide the pimples & old scars.
Fast forward to today & my skin is amazing! Rose had set me up on 302 & basically my skin healed itself with the help of 302 (healed itself since you only use it a couple of days/​week). I don’t even wear makeup most days, just lipliner & gloss!
Now, it took about 4 months until people started noticing the difference, 8 months before I started experimenting with less makeup, but now almost 3 years into working with Rose & using 302 my acne is completely under control.
302 rocks, but in the hands of a professional like Rose it seriously works like magic.
Oh and I have to mention that you can get a Brazilian in about 20 minutes flat. Totally fast, professional, clean job!
Rose does book up pretty fast & has a strong clientele base so I do recommend being flexible with your appointment times, and you will not regret the experience. I sent my mom there as a birthday gift & the facial plus LED shaved years off after only 1 visit. She loved it! All my girlfriends that I’ve referred to Rose are now clients for years.

This is actually a review for my sister-​in-​law because she does not have a Unilocal account :) she had been going to rose for Brazilians and wanted one at the last minute. Rose was not able to get her in so she went to the franchise waxing spot. She said it was more expensive than Rose is and they left a bunch of hair! She said she’ll never stray again! Rose gets every single hair and my sister in law loves the wax that Rose uses. Not only are her services outstanding, but she herself is a gem! GO! Call! you won’t be sorry!

I’m SO glad I found Rose again!!! Love her new location. Love her services and how friendly she is. She makes you feel so comfortable. Her prices are great. I just can’t say anything bad about her or her services. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends.

Rose is a gem. She is a consummate professional. We had a little trouble with scheduling, but she went above and beyond to make me happy. Her studio is so clean and comfortable. Very calming and relaxing! She is so warm and friendly. I can’t say enough good things. You know when someone is being genuine and she truly is genuinely an amicable, sweet soul! I’ve been going to Rose for almost 2 years. The time with her is so relaxing and you would not expect that with a Brazilian. She is incredible personable and professional. I never felt awkward or uncomfortable. I highly recommend her to all of my friends. I have been going to Rosemarie since I moved here in 2011. She was referred to me by another business I was using their services as well. I am so thankful because does the best job I have ever had. I have never been burned or skin torn. Just the smooth skin I desire. Plus she goes above and beyond anyone else. She is super busy and that means a lot to me. Only the best are as busy as she is!!! One hint of advice… Don’t cancel your appointment. Because once you have had the best, the rest won’t be worth it, no matter what.

Rose is amazing. She takes off way more than most places for about the same price. There are absolutely no hairs left! She was the very first person I ever went to for a wax. When she left her last shop I bounced around trying new people, attempting to find someone who was equally good in comparison. Not an easy task! I was beyond thrilled to find out she had opened up this shop. I highly recommend rose for all your waxing needs. She is absolutely amazing.

There should be an option for a bonus star. Rose is AMAZING. I have been going to her since she owned Pele Fina in Modesto and you honestly cannot get a better experience than the one she provides. Her cleanliness and care is automatic and second-​nature; you never have to worry about her double-​dipping in the wax or getting distracted. She’s careful, considerate, and thorough. She has the perfect balance of professionalism and kindness and humor that will make you feel at ease whether it’s your first Brazilian or your hundredth. She makes the whole process as painless as possible (don’t get me wrong, it still hurts, but she knows what she’s doing and makes you completely forget the pain within seconds) and you don’t have to worry about getting home and finding stray hairs– she’s incredibly thorough. The only downside is that if you ever move away, you’ll constantly be disappointed in every other waxing experience you have. She could charge at least double for her services and it would still be worth it, she is that talented. If you’re looking for the best deal and the best service, Rose is the only person worth going to in the Central Valley.
