Very good service. Its our first time to come here and we are satisfied. The smoked salmon omelette is the bomb! Also their corned beef hash. And they also have a compliment muffins. Thank you and keep up the good job! :)

Great food, comfortable, beautiful to look at, but nothing for morning grouches — the staff is WAY too friendly! ;)

Came here for the first time. I got fish and chips and the kids got chicken alfredo and mini corn dogs with fruit. I ordered a side of fries and got the spinach artichoke dip. I like the complimentary bread. Also started with a ceaser salad. The alfredo came with red sauce, child was a little thrown off by it but said it tasted ok. Fish came out hot and crispy, needed a little more salt. Fries were good. Mini corn dogs were gross, idk what they fry it in. I told the waitress and she agrred that they didn’t taste like the normal ones. ??? At any rate the manager took it off the bill. The fruit was good except the pineapple want even ripe. Being first time patrons we got 2 muffins complimentary. The waitress was very attentive. Only 3 stars because of the food. I don’t think i would go back, nothing really stood out.

Our server was Chrystal and she was a total sweetheart. Very patient and kind! Gave us complimentary muffins because it was our first time. Food was very good too. Thanks Chrystal!

First time visiting and we got Santa Fe omelet and Santa Fe tacos … Sooo good. Impressed with food and the staff. Amazing food but even better staff … We forgot our leftover food and reached our car already when the girl from reception ran up to us(car was parked pretty far) and handed us the food! Shout out to the staff!!!

I’d never been to a Mimi’s yet but was offered lunch and a seminar there today. The staff was wonderful as was the seminar leader. The FOOD, however, appeared to have been cooked and reheated. My burger was so well cooked it was tough and even CRUNCHY. The fries were way overdone too and either hard to the point of being chips or soggy. I’d heard alot of good things about Mimi’s but both my husband’s and my meals were a total disappointment!

Had the french dip with added onions, peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella and a side salad. Sandwich was great but a little greasy due to oil or butter used to grill the bread which was nice and browned. Ordered the side salad to go with our which was fresh and ranch dressing was great.

The service is always good when I come in. One time when I had come in to have dinner with my son the waitress apologized for the slow service, which I hadn’t even noticed. When we got our bill the waitress again apologized and took our appetizer off the bill. We didn’t feel it was necessary, but it was greatly appreciated. I have ordered the avocado bacon burger on grilled sourdough and it is amazing, also liked the parmesan crusted chicken but I don’t think it’s on the menu anymore. The salads are all pretty tasty too, and they come with a big ol muffin, which I usually take home and eat for breakfast the next day. Also, I always order a box of croisants to go, they are super buttery and flaky, I just love them.

I know the food is good but unfortunately we didn’t get to eat this morning. We were told there was a 30 min wait for our party of 8. An hour later… We realized that they were waiting for another large party to leave to sit us. This other party was having a bday party and were not in any hurry to leave. Rather than look for another place for us, they continued to sit other smaller parties, not leaving another option for us. I did see a booth that was open and asked if the table right by it could be pulled over to make it large enough for us. However the manager, Jasmine, decided that was not acceptable even in light of our inconvenience. The manager did not come to talk to us, did not offer our hungry children anything while we were waiting much less apologize. Good food, bad management.

I was extremely dissapointed on the food this visit. I ordered french onion soup it extremely over done the cheese was so burned I couldn’t eat it it was down right burned to a crisp the bread in the soup was so hard I couldn’t bite through it, as for my french dip sandwich it was do salty I couldn’t take a second bite. I have never had this happen at Mims before usually the food is exellent. Don’t know why it was so horrible this time, but I will try agsin.

This was my first time eating here. I ordered the Farm Tacos and they were tasty. The service was good. The restaurant was clean and inviting. My only issue was the espresso machine. It was very loud. It didn’t help that I was there in the morning so people were ordering a lot of them. I was treating my sister to a birthday brunch and I tried the crêpe she ordered it was very good as well. We both enjoyed the food, at times, we had a hard time conversing over the sound of the espresso machine.

I know it’s a chain, but I just don’t care. I can’t knock Mimi’s. French bistro meets large scale restaurant, Mimi’s has never let me down. After several breakfasts & lunches here, I can say a few things for certain… Don’t be on a diet. The cream cheese stuffed French toast is kind of amazing. Order the tomato bisque. Order the pumpkin pancakes. Don’t come on a weekend if you don’t want to wait an hour for a table. The pumpkin pancakes(seasonal) are dynamite. Every November, you need these pumpkin pancakes, along w the pumpkin truffles from See’s Candy, in your life. Trust. Then, there’s the home baked breads. You get a warm basket as soon as you sit down for lunch or dinner. A sourdough roll, a carrot bread slice, & corn bread. They’re all great. You must order the tomato bisque. It’s fabulous. Creamy, decadent, & the ratio of deliciousness to guilt makes it way worth it. You can be healthy here, too. Salmon, roasted chicken, & apples w warm Brie(I just don’t eat the crostini served w it to omit the carbs) just to name a few things to keep you in check. My mom has had the pasta dishes & loved them, & I’ve got to mention the blue cheese & walnut salad. The chicken crepes are also good, & the quiche is fantastic. Now, the size of things. The muffins are huge. Blueberry, bran, chocolate, buttermilk. I love the bran. Entrees are huge, too. An order of pancakes w a side of bacon & eggs is enough to put anyone over the edge. They’re always introducing new dishes(hello, chicken mattone!), & the manager always says hi & checks in w you. So why not 5 stars? The coffee. I’m sorry, but I cannot lie. And it’s better to skip a latte here altogether(or any espresso drink ftm), & grab one somewhere else beforehand. There are very few wine & beer options, but remember, this is a chain. The options are very, very, basic. Finally, the wait. I usually avoid this by sitting at the counter, but sometimes life dictates that you eat at a table. My pick? The corner booth in the back of the back room. A must for breakfast. 4 stars.

Been here twice. Honestly the only reason we came back here was because my boyfriend had this KILLER Mac and cheese and he wanted it again so I said okay.(Tillamook cheddar mac definitely try it). I got the chicken Caesar salad the first time we came, and it was delicious. Not much can go wrong on a salad but everything was portioned correctly. Not dripping in dressing. The second time we came I got the chicken pot pie which was very good, albeit a little hot. I found a hair in the crust of the pie which immediately turned my appetite. However, the waiter was so accommodating and the manager himself came and gave me free muffins AND comped my meal. The customer service was impeccable and I wish I could remember my waiters name. He was so understanding and immediately took care of the issue. In conclusion, when back in Modesto/Ripon area, I will be eating here again. However we might just order two of the Mac and cheeses because they’re that good!

I’ve since stopped going to Mimi’s. I still love their corn chowder and cobb salad, but with their ever increasing prices and ever decreasing levels of service I have decided there are other restaurants in town that deserve my business more. One of the last and most memorable times I ate at Mimi’s, I was seated and then left to wait for nearly 30 minutes. My waitress disappeared. I did not even get a drink order in. I had to call the restaurant and speak to the manager while sitting in it to get service. My meal was comped but the experience is definitely indicative of how their levels of service have dropped in recent years.

I love the food! But it seems every time I go there, the service sucks. Instead of my waitress asking me if I needed anything, I had to tell her myself. First of all, it took her a while to get our orders Secondly, we were waiting for 10 minutes after we ordered and no bread was at our table Thirdly, once we were done with our bread she didn’t ask if we wanted more or if she can take the plates away. Afterwards, we had to tell her we wanted a refill. When our food arrived, she finally asked«is everything okay, or do you need anything else» As I finished my food, I put my plate to the side, I know she saw me do that, and she turned away. I mean I would understand if it was busy, but it was not. And when she brought us the check, she just walked by and put it on the table and didn’t say anything. If it weren’t for the food, then I wouldn’t go back. Next time I go, I’m just going to request to be waited by a specific waitress.

This place was ok. I came here to study, but it wasn’t a place where I could just open my laptop and study. in fact, it was a lot fancier than expected. but I ordered an Asian salad and a glass of wine. This place has to be similar to Olive Garden(OG), but Mimi is a little bite less salt in their food. At least from what I had, it seemed that way. I am sure the pasta, etc. are filled with salt. Rating: Food: 2 wasn’t that bad for a salad, but can’t go wrong with it either. Ambience: 4. Service: 3 Price: 2 Overall: 3 I would probably go here for ambience.

I like to go here for breakfast. It is slightly more expensive than IHOP or Denny’s, but food is a lot better. Service is excellent and place is always clean. Breakfast never disappoints and I always leave FULL. Less than 20 bucks. Worth it!

Good spot for a quick fix close to the mall. Appetizers and $ 5 wine specials make this yummy. Fast courteous service and tasty food.
