George Wright Quick 1944 — 2011 George Wright Quick a beloved husband, father and friend to many. A well respected Attorney at Law passed away peacefully at 11:40 p.m. on March 20, 2011. Born, June 22, 1944 in San Francisco, CA to Carmilita Mackey– Quick and George Weston Quick. George graduated law school at Hastings Of San Francisco. Shortly thereafter his mother decided to move to Bakersfield in 1970. He married Glenna Gail Champlin in 1972. He practiced law for 40 years and he specialized in Criminal Law. George was also very active within the democratic community holding a seat on the Central Committee. He was a very kind man, always putting others before himself. He will be very missed. George is survived by his wife, Glenna Gail Quick; son, George Weston Quick; daughter, Rebecca Louise Quick; 5 grandchildren; and his many friends.
