Original Post Game Pub was located in Country Club Hills in 1982 — Closed in 1999 and opened in Mokena on January 6th of 2002.

Husband and Wife Team since opening the Post Game Pub and Sedona Grille’ in January of 2002. Big sports fans and both have been in the business most of their lives. Wanted to customers that «Cheers» feeling with the best bar food and a backyard atmosphere.

I went back and, I have to tell everyone, one of the best burgers around. Great beer and what I had to eat was very good. I would recommend this place for a good burger and beer any day. I will be back. Thanks Mo.

Came here again last week. This time we tried the wings. We had the dry rubbed with no sauce. They were decent but kind of salty if you like that. I tried the breakfast burger. As you may guess it had an over medium egg and thick cut bacon on it along with cheese and served on Texas toast. This was a large sandwich and it was good! The fries here are fresh cut ans also very good. We sat outside as it was a nice day. The outdoor area faces the parking lot and is nothing special but OK if you want to sit outside by your car. The service was good and overall it was a decent lunch.

We met friends here the other night and ended up having a really nice time. It’s a neighborhood dive bar, so don’t go expecting much more.
The service was really good. We had a few beers and some appetizers. We ordered cheesy tomato bread and some type of fried quesadilla roll up. It was actually decent for a dive bar. I didn’t pay so I can’t comment on the prices (I didn’t look).
I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. It’s not a horrible place when meeting people though. The picnic table seating is a little strange too.

Post Game is great for watching sports, but that’s about it. The service isn’t really good at all. I’ve tried on countless occasions to get the bartenders attention and she just doesn’t look around to help anyone out. The food is ok, but not the best. I try not too go here too often if I can help it.

Excellent service, excellent atmosphere. I really enjoy this place every time I go. And oh yes the food… VERY extensive menu with alot of variety — they will serve baked beans or homemade potato salad with your burger. Those burgers are HUGE too! They also have homemade potato chips — it was hard for me to stop eating them! The beer selection is pretty good too, not that I vary from my usuals, but I know some people like that.

Their bloody Mary’s and handmade burgers are a Sunday hangover cure. The bloody Mary’s are spicy & flavored perfectly and then garnished with a jalapeño & garlic stuffed olive and some spicy pickle chips that are amazing.
Food is good and staff is usually pretty friendly.

The beer is cold and pretty cheap, but that’s not the issue at this place. The issue I have with this bar is in the management who have revealed themselves to be ignorant and entirely racist. Out for an after dinner drink and some pool with a buddy on a dead Sunday night we put some money in the jukebox and happened to play ONE tasteful hip hop song and the bartender walked over to me and said verbatim, «don’t play any of that ‘wigger isht’ in here ever again». When the other 4 songs were classic rock and soul I’m not sure what warranted such a response, but I know for sure I won’t be spending any more money in this place. Don’t expect to be welcomed in this bar.

This was a real surprise for me. I’ve seen the signs and knew it existed in a beat up, shabby looking strip mall. But I thought it was going to be the kind of dive bar that I don’t go to. You know, the one that’s dark, smells like a musty basement & the only people are a handful of drunk guys that are on the neighborhood sex offender list. Nope, this is the kind of dive bar that I like. What’s the difference you ask? For starters it has to have a few craft beer choices & not just Miller or Bud products. It helps that the place doesn’t smell like a flooded basement. Of corse a little musk, wood & beer is ok. Throw in good bartenders & friendly /​fun wait staff & top it off with good food.

This is the Mokena reincarnation of the Pub that started out in my old hood in Country Club Hills — shout out to Conrad the owner. This isn’t really a place to hang for the night, but more of a place to stop for one or two. There is a small patio for smokers & outdoor eating. The food is standard bar food, but it is a little better than you would expect. Friendly bartenders and nice clean bathrooms are a bonus.

Great local sports bar. Friendly staff, daily drink specials and good food make this a nice place to hang out on a relaxed night. You are not going to dance here. You can just relax, drink and talk to people and be able to hear them talking back to you. Pool table, large group tables, bags, outdoor patio, clean washrooms and fast service are nice. It also helps that we know most of the people that come in there so it is nice to go «where everybody knows your name».
