History
Established in 2003.
Owner Dieter Rebitzer had traveled much of the United States since emigrating from Linz, Austria in the 1960’s. Since moving to the Quad Cities with his wife Nancy and four children he saw what a wonderful city it was with so many of its citizens with German heritage background. Unfortunatly there wasn’t any restaurant to enjoy a taste of the Old World. Since 2001 Bierstube has been a staple of the Quad City community beginning with the first location in the East Village of Davenport. After several requests by patrons to open closer to their side of the Mississippi river, Bierstube Moline location underwent a lengthly remodel just before opening its second location in late 2003.
