Kudos to Eddie Fort of PD&M. I have worked with dozens of architectural/​design firms all over the US, from the very, very large international firms like KMD to small local firms, and Eddie’s expertise, knowledge and passion rank right up there with the very best of the best. We asked the impossible of him: to put together our wish list (and restrictions) well enough to tell us in an hour or two onsite whether he could meet our needs and budget. And our needs weren’t ‘normal’: We are committed to solar and green, among other concerns. Fortunately, Eddie has won awards for green, and he quickly put together the myriad pieces we needed to feel comfortable about solar. We are early adapters, so we don’t make life easy on the tech front. His advice was fabulous, and his knowledge of building and customer satisfaction is absolutely evident from the minute you meet with him. In addition, he has great communication skills, and great intuition – the perfect compliment to a serious knowledge of process.
