We bring to Monroe, many years of experience in this field. We continually stay abreast of the state continuing education requirements and industry advances.

History

Established in 1995.

Ahrens Valley Eyeworks was established in 1995. After several years working in the Optical field, I had the opportunity to bring all my experiences to the town of Monroe, Washington.

By offering wonderful service, knowledgeable staff, and the tools necessary to create custom eyewear, we have continually grown each year since.

As a guy growing up in the 50’s, I was taught early, the importance of follow through, and providing the best quality work I was able to deliver.

We differ a lot from the big chain stores, in that we take time with each customer in relaying the vast options available in both frame design and related lens technologies.

We have the ability to draw from the very best optical products the industry has to offer.

We are not confined to the brand that that particular chain store manufactures or advertises.

This gives us the ability to provide a more refined and dedicated approach to performance. «Brand A» does not work for every individual.

Business Owner

I am a Washington State Licensed Dispensing Optician. LDO.

I Started out out joining the US. Navy out of high school in 1973. I branched from the Hospital Corp to the Ocular tech program while in the service. I worked in this field till I left the service in 1977.

At that point, I found work in the optical field for the next several years gaining experience along the way.

From working in the chain store structure, private practices, to the very high end boutique settings. I rounded out a good understanding of both service standards and the varying differences of quality work and product delivery.

From these great learning opportunities, I sat for the state board exams in 1981, I was awarded the coveted state license.

In 1995 I opened the doors to my own practice «Ahrens Valley Eyeworks» here in Monroe, Washington.

I have continually provided the best service and quality work to those that come through our doors. I am delighted to be part of this wonderful town.
