Bao Bao Food Market

Bao Bao is my local go-​to store for Asian cooking supplies/​greens/​frozen items. It’s your average small storefront where you can pick up Asian cooking essentials (hoisin, fish sauce, fermented anchovy paste, vermicelli, rice paper, pickled eggplant, tofu, specialty soup bouillon, frozen dumplings, ingredients for sweet dessert soup, fresh greens like bok choy, water spinach, garlic chives, Thai basil, etc). Obviously, the options are limited here and shipments come in weekly from Houston.
I usually stock up on supplies in Dallas or Houston, where the sea of options and varieties are endless. However, it’s good to have this store nearby in case the need arises.
Service can vary if you’re not fluent in Vietnamese and I usually don’t have problems since I know what items to look for in the aisles. (Perhaps bring a friend who is familiar with this type of store to avoid any confusion with your purchases).
