Cold cuts not really in view to check freshness, last time there the front door was open to cool off store. Flies were landing on everything, and on the food they were using to prepare my sandwich. Yuck

What a great surprise. Don’t let its minimalist appearance throw you off. Yes, this is a small shop, no seating, in a strip mall with a bright, clean look to it. It’s operated by two young guys that, when you speak with them, have a great appreciation for all things Italian. I asked for two sandwiches, one for my wife(a roll with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and glazed with balsamic) and one for me. All I said was to make me a sandwich with a variety of cold cuts and make it spicy, really. The meats, cheeses, and odds and ends they chose for my sandwich were right on. These guys delivered on both sandwiches. I wish I took a picture of both sandwiches because they were understated works of art. You won’t go wrong with this nondescript, neighborhood shop. If you know exactly what you like, like my wife, then they’ll deliver. If you’re like me and like leaving it to the sandwich gods to select the innards, then they’ll deliver too. Just make sure you budget time for a walk or a jog after eating, you’ll need it.
