We started in 1992 with primarily small planting designs and have evolved into a complete landscape design and build company. From a small perennial garden to a complete outdoor living area, Fine Edge Landscape Design handles ALL of your landscape needs.

Our specialty would have to be complete outdoor living areas that incorporate drainage systems, paver patios, stonework, walkways, outdoor fireplaces, landscape lighting, outdoor kitchens and all softscapes.

History

Established in 1992.

After spending a number of years in the home construction business, I became involved in the landscape/​lawn maintenance business with one of my best friends in 1985. We did well but the recession of the early 90’s had me leave NH to come back to NC. It was only supposed to be for the Winter but I met my beautiful wife and stayed in NC.

1992 led to the start of Fine Edge Landscape Design. We started designing mainly softscapes but soon added paver patios and small stonework projects. As the demand and our experience grew, we added larger patios, landscape lighting, complete drainage systems and more extensive stonework. Still, it seemed every project had some type of planting design associated with it.

The turn of the century saw Fine Edge Design take on additional items for our landscape arsenal. We were now designing and building complete outdoor living areas, outdoor fireplaces and fire pits, outdoor kitchens and water features.
