La Pietra Custom Marble & Granite

They were very friendly and helpful when I was looking at their granite. The problem is they tried to pull a fast one over on us telling me we needed 2 slabs. Every other place I went to told me that we only need 1 slab to complete the countertops we were doing. Also other places told me we should have nearly ¼ of that slab left over. Something very wrong there. When I pointed out that 2 slabs sounded like much more than we needed they made a comical attempt to justify their calculcations. I’m used to contractors trying to take advantage of women and people they assume have lots of money and won’t shop around (note to self: drive my rusty old suv next time i’m shopping), but this was excessive and unjustifiable.
