The business was originally started by Dr. Thomas Brulte in 1926, and has been in operation continuously since. The present owner is Dr. Michael J. Haynes, he became owner of the business in 1982. Since 1982 the business has more than quadrupled in size providing excellent eye care for the people of Monroe-West Monroe and the surrounding area.
