This is long but true. We have been a long time repeat customer of Speedway Chevrolet in Monroe, Wa. Basically since they opened the doors up to our recent two new cars we got from there. Take it thou the first new car was for my wife on her birthday. It was a great car at a great price. But about a month later after getting the new car, my wife was T Boned near Safeway and it was declared totaled. So of course we had to get another car. Where do we go, no other place then Speedway Chevrolet. All it took was one phone call to Robert Mcleod told him what happened and what we needed. His response «No Problem I Will Take Care Of It». His biggest concern was not selling me another car but he was concerned more about my wife Julie and how she was. We have always dealt with one particular salesman name Robert McLeod. That cowboy is something else, he is one of a kind. He has great customer service with a no pressure approach on a sale. If anyone pressures them it was always me. You can always guarantee a smile on his face when you enter and a pat on your back with a when you leave. Knowing Robert Mcleod all these years has been a pleasure as well as Rick Weeden over all these years buying all our business rigs and personal vehicles from there.
One things good about that place that I’ve liked over the many years is, the no pressure sales. That is our or I should say my personal reason for being a repeat buyer many times over. Everybody, if you are dealing with Robert McLeod you will notice he likes to joke around and always make you feel comfortable when you are there. He seems to be always in a good mood.
When we need a car all I do is call Robert, tell him what we want and he takes care of the paperwork call us when it’s ready or he found what we are looking for. I would highly recommend Speedway Chevrolet to everybody that would want to buy a new or used car. Also i would highly reccommend Robert McLeod for your salesman being he was our salesman throughout all these years and he never let is down. He always went that extra mile to make sure we were happy. Then their Service Dept. They are beyond extraordinary. Chuck the Service Manager there is always just a phone call away if you have a problem. A few times he went clearly out of way to make sure we were taken care of.
So i guess what I am saying is, if you ever need a new or use car, be sure to go in and ask for Robert and you will see what we been seeing all these years. Speedway Chevrolet will always be our number one place to buy our vehicles and no where else.
If you do go into Speedway Chevrolet, and ask for Robert. Tell him the «Flyin Hawaiian «said to see him. He will laugh. He will never forget us nor will ever forget him.
We are just a very satisfied customer and I was not paid to say this or nothing.

After going to a few different dealerships and dealing with the stereotypical used car salesmen, Chase Hedin made our car buying experience a good one. I love my new car!

Purchased a used Corvette from them for my dying father who was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I bought the car with cash! They told me they would have to send me the title on Monday since it was the weekend. Guess what, it’s been 5 weeks and still no title. After 3 weeks they said they forgot to tell me that the title had a lien on it and the bank is sending it to them! WTF– I paid cash and bought from a dealership so this wouldn’t happen! I have called them 20 times to keep hearing them say that it should be coming? My next phone call will be my attorney! Buyer Beware!

The friendly staff was awesome. Jeff Gross is an awesome salesman and did a lot to help me out.

My husband I went to Speedway to take a look at their inventory, it was the last stop of the day before we started another long day of car shopping the next day. We were expecting the usual pushy salesman just trying to sell a car and not listening to what we want or of course, «Can you increase the amount you are willing to spend?» Like we had been dealing with ALL DAY LONG. Speedway Chev was a breath of fresh air!
Chase was the one who helped us (DON’T let his younger age fool you! He knows what he is talking about) and was not the least bit pushy! He listened to our story of what happened to our previous vehicle and really listened to what we wanted. He asked for a price range and he showed us what was to offer. He even brought us inside to see if there were any other vehicles that we would like to look at as they have other lots besides the one we were looking at… news to me nobody had ever offered that before! We found the perfect vehicle EXCEPT I felt as if there were a dog coming with it. (it had just arrived on the lot) I jumped out as quickly as I could because I am allergic and Chase apologized profusely. Why do I tell you this? BECAUSE THE SMELL IS GONE! After talking to Chase, He didn’t push, he just told me of a cleaning they have there that gets the smell out and IT WORKED! Ozo something. I then talked to Chase about adding heated leather seats and he showed me prices and again NO PUSH. He was very RESPECTFUL (a rare thing in a car salesman!) of our wants and budget.
My husband is due to get a car soon and we have NO DOUBT that we will be going to Speedway Chevrolet to see Chase again! I can honestly say that this was the most ENJOYABLE car buying experience I’ve ever had! Before Chase I always felt like I walked out of a battle, but this experience I walked out feeling relaxed and EXCITED about my purchase! Thank you Chase for taking such good care of me and my new to me SUV and for dealing with my numerous phone calls with questions I had for you! I am EXTREMELY grateful we ran into you at Speedway!

Have known this family that owns Speedway Chevrolet and their approach is top notch. As we all know buying a vehicle can be stressful. However, I feel comfortable saying that my personal experience has been one of the best ever. Their sales staff is friendly, non pressuring, and knowledgeable.
And their financing group is helpful in explaining all the opportunities for warranties, vehicle protection product available.
I highly recommend to search Speedway Chevrolet out and do business.
They believe in long term relationships through fair pricing and super service.

Simply put, I had done my research on exactly the car I wanted. There was nothing left for potential dealerships to do but provide stellar customer service. I made my intentions very clear to each dealership, you would be surprised how many reps fell short in customer service… when thats all they had to do! (I was already sold on the car).
I chose Andrew, out of some otherwise likeable characters. I chose to go with him (even though its over an hour drive from my house and closer dealerships) because he «hands down» gave the most consistent, knowledgable customer service experience.

Scam Alert
I took my vehicle to the service department with a transmission issue. The quote was $ 2600. About half the price of the vehicle. So I wanted to get another estimate before buying a new car. After paying about $ 300+ for the estimate I took my car to Aamco. They gave me a free estimate and told me that the repairs would be $ 460. Aamco could not find the issues that Speedway claimed was causing the transmission problem. I had the repairs done. It has been a month and the car is running great.
Shame on you Speedway Cheverolet.

Sooooo slow. The 2 poor guys behind the service counter took over 20 mins to enter my data. For a tail light bulb swap out.
I know I may be spoiled living in the city where people get that folks don’t want to spend all day in a car service dept but this gang could use some shots of espresso to get into gear.

I purchased a new 2014 Chevrolet Sonic LT Hatchback. This is my 2^nd purchase from Speedway, my first being a used car. I also have my 2006 Pontiac GTO serviced there.
I came back to Speedway because of that first experience and the great service from Chris Appia. I really appreciate the way I was treated by the whole staff there. I used to sell new Chevrolets at a dealer in the Los Angeles area. It was a privately owned dealership and so it was not a production house like some of the large dealers now. The sales staff would stick with you the whole way and we built relationships. That’s how Speedway is and I hope they never change. They didn’t jerk me around and it was a very easy purchase.
I will be bringing the Sonic there for service when needed as well as my GTO. My wife will be needing a new ride in a year or two so I will be contacting Chris again when we’re ready.

Beware of buying a used car from here. I bought a Chevy 2500hd after a week I started noticing alot of smoke coming from the exhaust. Took it back and they told me ¾ of the injectors were bad. There was a recall on them but because another dealership fixed only two of them six months back I was going to have to pay for the whole job. The swindled me into another truck cause they refused to refund me. I won’t buy here again.

We get all of our car maintenance done here, and I trust the service department implicitly. I’ve never felt like they were trying to give me service I didn’t need, and they’ve kept our vehicles in top running order with no problems!

My wife and I purchased a 2007 Suburban and really enjoy it. Being a used car we were aggressively sold the «bumper to bumper» extended warranty. Well, three years in and three issues later… all that should be covered from that warranty were denied. This was after the service department told us they were very very confident the warranty would cover the repair and so they started the repair. Yes, the warranty company is to blame but the sales department misrepresented what the warranty would cover and it still amazes is that all three issues that should have been covered were magically not. Do yourself a favor and choose another dealership or just be prepared and be skeptical of the signatures they sign on the dotted line.

So where do I start???
I’ve not purchased a used vehicle in literally decades so I’ve only purchased autos new from the appropriate dealerships.
The reason for this Glowing Review is I’m very gunshy of used car transactions and these guys were simply awesome!
I’ve been looking locally (Portland, OR), on eBay Motors nationally and Craigslist regionally for a very specific low miles SUV. They posted the «perfect» rig on Craigslist a couple of weekends ago, I saw it, called them, gave them a CC deposit to hold it until I could get up to Monroe (where exactly is that?!) and see the vehicle in person. Shane picked me in Seattle a few days later and took me to the dealership and it was EXACTLY AS THEY DESCRIBED IT! I was nearly shocked! Honesty regards a day old trade-​in, wow!
So Shane and Joe were totally swell to meet and work with and I drove the barge (a Navigator) back to Portland later that afternoon.
The title followup has been very smooth as well and I can’t give them higher marks for dealing with a one-​off out of state buyer like me.

We haven’t purchased (yet…) but I have to say I was rather impressed with Shane Hagans when we stopped by today. He gave us no hassle, answered all of our questions to the best of his ability, and was fun to talk to. Hopefully he will be able to soon find the right vehicle to match our needs and we’ll be back in to do business with him.

Love this service department! You can totally trust them. Ask for Chris, tell him JP sent you and that I miss him. His priority is always the customer! I moved away from WA two years ago and I’ll never find his personality in a service department again. He’s AWESOME!
