I highly recommend this nail salon. Everyone was very friendly, they did an excellent job on my gel mani/​pedi. They took their time and they were very thorough. The salon was super clean and I loved that they had matching Polish for every gel color.

Over priced. I didn’t bother to ask for prices beforehand because normally I pay $ 16 at my usual nail place & I’ve came before but she didn’t charge more then I expected. The older lady (that seems to be the owner) charged me $ 30 for basic fill & polish, I questioned the price because it seemed odd and she replied «you get what you pay for» VERY RUDELY, and clearly it was the same work and polish I always request. They have no signs stating how much they charge, so please be aware that they don’t try to over charge you.

Best foot massage in town. I really appreciate that Becky, the owner, keeps up to date on all things involving nails. Be it new gels, nail therapies, Fungus, colors, nail health, heel cracks etcetera. She truly is a craftsman at her trade. It makes a difference to me that the salon is constantly evolving.

I found this salon on Unilocal after not being able to an appointment at my regular place a few months ago. They are great and I have been coming to Romantic every since. Prices are reasonable and comparable to every other salon in the area. Becky is very detailed and takes pride in her work.

They do a great job and today when I went in to repair a nail that had broken, Becky didn’t even charge me! I would recommend Romantic Nails to anyone.

I decided to try romantic nails after trying several other nail salons in the area. They always did a good job The first time but when I would go back again it was always a sloppy job. I’m pretty picky about where I go and there’s always things I look for when choosing a new place. This place has it all! It’s VERY clean, they have a great selection of gel color (as well as regular polish), the staff is super friendly and most importantly they do a great job! I got a gel manuicure and pedicure and it felt so good and relaxing that by the time I was done I was ready for a nap. My nails came out gorgeous (despite being butchered by the last salon I went to) and for the service and quality of service I got the price was more than fair. Really happy that I found a great place and I can’t wait to come back again!

I love Romantic Nails. My gel always lasts a long time, and I get so many complements after I get my nails done here. So friendly and accommodating too! They always try to squeeze me in around my schedule, and tell me realistically if the nail art ideas I find on Pinterest will work or not!

This was my 1st time back here since 1996 (yes that long ago) and I am so glad I went back. I was on my lunch break and needed a pedicure. Christine was AWESOME! I live in San Gabriel, but a few of my friends come to this salon so I decided to drive over to Old Town Monrovia! Cute little place right off of Foothill and one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had! We were lucky enough to go on a Sunday because they were open and although it was a bit pricey, I would come back for sure! Thanks Christine :)

What a surprising find! Wanted to meet a friend and she was getting her nails done here, so I joined her. I figured it would be good, since my friend is an expert at nails. However, I am hard to please. I’m pretty good at doing my own nails, so I always struggle with whether salons are doing a better job than me. Well, this place surpassed my expectations.
Background, I had acrylics for the first time in December and totally ruined my nails. So I felt there wasn’t much they could do to fix. Nope my nails look fantastic, despite the damage I had done to them.
Parking: there’s free street parking and a small lot in back.
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is I am a bit shallow and the décor doesn’t look like a high end spa, BUT service was 5 stars.

I have been following Christine for the past couple years! She’s been so great and her work has been so consistent. She takes her time and makes sure that I am getting great service. I also go to her for all kinds of waxing, she never disappoints! It’s also nice that the store is clean and organize! If anyone is looking to have a relaxing nail day, this place is definitely the place to check out. And don’t forget to ask for Christine!

I have been going to the same nail place for over 16yrs, but the quality of shop and staff had gone down. SO after years of driving by Romantic Nails, I finally decided to try them out…
Well, I left one happy Lady. First off, they were able to get me in on Christmas eve with no problems. They helped recommend nails colors. One thing I love when choosing a color, is that they are grouped in similar colors. My old place had bottles all mixed together so I would end up spending so much time trying to figure what I liked.
Becky is A++. For friendly, and does great work. She did my Gel Nails and pedicure. And surprisingly they have this top coat for your feet that dries in 25 minutes so you can put your shoes back on. Shoes! Not slippers. It was great.
Looking forward to more sexy toes and pretty fingers!

Just discovered this place. It is literally 2 blocks from my house.
The place is newly renovated and super. I walked in on a Wed at 4:00pm.
No wait for a Pedicure.
Jennifer is nice and was very good.
The other woman Becky, is very sassy, but funny.
$ 3 off if you’re a first timer. If I knew, I would’ve done the pedi mani combo.
