The Mobile Mechanic

Imagine getting into your car after work only to realize that your front passenger window is rolled down but won’t roll back up again. That was the problem I was having with my ’97 Nissan Maxima.
As it was already after 6pm on a Friday afternoon, my wife recommended calling a mechanic that would come to where you were. She found The Mobile Mechanic on Unilocal and from the first conversation with Noah, I felt more at ease. We discussed the issues with my car on the phone, gave possible solutions for how to fix it, and was up-​front regarding pricing, too.
When Noah and Rich came over the next morning, not only were they thorough and professional, but they were personable, too. They understood my anxiety over the situation. Not only did they get right to work figuring out the problem, but explaining things to me along the way so that I understood the root/​cause (s) of the issue as well as the solutions. They went above and beyond checking tire pressures, oil and all other fluid levels; things not even associated with my car problems. Additionally, for a little extra, they helped me to get my air conditioner working properly again.
Their prices were extremely competitive, and their thorough, honest, professional and personable nature put me at ease that I was getting what I was paying for, and more! I can’t thank Mobile Mechanic enough for all of their help. They were fantastic and I would absolutely recommend them to any of you for any and all of your automotive needs.

Noah was honest and straight forward. I’m a commuter and was in the Monrovia area when my car started to make a really loud and obnoxious humming sound. I Unilocaled a mobile mechanic and read the reviews and decided to give him a shot.
Noah came to me the same day and was able to immediately diagnose the problem right there in the parking lot. My pipe connecting my catalytic converter to my exhaust decided to detach making a really loud and obnoxious sound. I explained that I didn’t necessarily want to fix the car until I was able to get back to my home mechanic back but a quick fix to mute the sound would be appreciated to at least get me back.
After three hours, Noah brought my car back with keys in hand. He did a quick fix just as I requested and nothing more explaining the details on what would be involved when fixing the problem and solid estimates on how much it would cost. Although he had it for three hours, he only charged me for 1.5 which I appreciated.
I am very satisfied with Noah’s work and honesty and would definitely call him again next time I’m in the area with car problems.

Noah Arkenburg is the auto-​repair-​man! He is familiar with many vehicle types, and his prices are very competitive. If you are stranded, and need a mechanic to come to you – he is your guy!
I like this mechanic because he is honest. He’ll tell you «straight up» what your options are, and how much it will cost to get the job done. He runs diagnostics (in case your car is running an error code) for a lot less than the dealer. He ran one for my friend (he drives an Audi) and told him how to fix the problem, and quoted him a price in case he wanted him to do it. My friend is handy with cars so with the information he did the job himself. What other mechanic does that?
Me on the other hand, am not interested in spending hours under my hood so I let a professional do it for me. He replaced my wife’s cam sensor yesterday for her 2006 Nissan Altima. I told him the symptoms and he knew spot on what it probably was. His diagnostic tool confirmed it. He fixed it next day for me, and now my wife’s car is running good as new. We haven’t had a bad experience with Noah yet, and I hope we never do :)
