Best place to buy fresh groceries. The employees are always very friendly and welcoming!!! If i can’t find something the employees look up the item for me and find it I always try to pay with Hailey she is very nice and fast at bagging the groceries I definitely recommend this Trader Joes!

Always loved TJ’s! Plus you don’t have to buy 6 bottles to get a decent price on wine like you do with the other grocery stores (really frustrating). And can’t forget their Fearless Flyer… makes food buying educational and fun!

It’s only 5 minutes away from 24 fitness YES… A very convenient location for people like me who likes to run errands in a short period of time lol. Plenty of parking space. This location is BIG. They had 7 cashiers helping customers AMAZING so there’s no line-​no waiting. Friendly staff. Definitely coming back!

This is the most convenient Trader Joe’s to my work place and like all Trader Joe’s it is great.

Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because Trader Joe’s did something unthinkable a few months back…
They released Nduja Spicy Salami Spread and then promptly allowed it to become super scarce and impossible to find. And so all reviews I give to Trader Joe’s until it returns will be 4-​stars because without the Salami Spread, Trader Joe’s is not «As good as it gets!»

I love coming here! Clean, well stocked, and great prices! Plenty of parking and the staff is always helpful and ready to answer any questions you might have.
Flowers– beautiful and reasonably priced
Greeting cards– a great buy at 99 cents a pop
Bread– fresh and tasty
Wines– amazing, red, white, moscato. take your pick
Milk-​butter-​eggs– a steal at great prices
Juices– prices are high for those :(
Overall a great value and a beautiful store!

Fairly consistent from location to location. Parking here get’s rough, but the layout inside works well as do most others. I find this one actually seems to have wider aisles than some of the other one’s I go to like San Dimas /​Pasadena.

It’s nice. Just have to get use to the layout but overall service was cool. :)
They had everything I need. Personally I still prefer the trader joes on Rosemead ! It’s my favorite one. I know where everything is and it’s less scattered

2 buc chuck? Yes sir. I also like the vast variety. In the freezer section. As well as the fresh produce. Its usually pretty busy but form business aspect thats exactly what you want. Reasonably priced goods keeps me coming back.

4.5 stars. This is the best Trader Joe’s! BUT … one of the many things that made them so fabulous was that they used to have carts for the kids. Apparently they got lost or stolen or something bizarr-​o like that. And they never ordered more! Trader Joe’s, put locking wheels on! Make an adorable return aisle next to the big aisle of carts so it’s easier to put them back! I’m sure you can think of something! Everything else is great: The staff is SO friendly — truly — like everyone! And the parking is – for a Trader Joe’s — totally manageable. Thanks for being so terrific! And please bring the kids carts back!

I love buying their flowers here because it is affordable and fresh! My flowers are still alive after a week!
I usually don’t come to this location but it was closer to my work so i decided to stop by. You can easily go over board with the snacks! So many good yummy snacks to buy! They even got lots of frozen food from rice to all ready made package food.
This location is clean, lots of parking space as it is located inside a big plaza.

The attitude of people at this store is great. Always eager to work hard and go out of their way to help the customer. Always a sunny and cool attitude. The selection is minimal in one sense, but unique and affordable in the other. Gourmet items, and quality products are what they trade in. No Jiffy peanut butter or Velveeta cheese, no Budweiser beer, only quality.

Whenever I want to cook or bake something, I always come here, just because I know they will have some of the freshest products at the best deals you can find. One time my friend bought a tin of green tea mints, but she was not too fond of the way they tasted, so she shared her concerns with an employee. The employee allowed her to exchange it for another item which is awesome, since she purchased it at a different Trader Joe’s and didn’t have her receipt. It’s awesome that they did the honor system, definitely the first time that I’ve seen it happen.
Overall, excellent service, terrific products, and truly one of the best stores there is!

This trader joes is the best in the area! I have been coming to this location for years and it never fails to impress.
The customer service is always friendly and fast, the staff here loves to get into conversation with you and follow up with how you are doing.
The shelves are always stocked and usually nothing ever runs out, even during the holiday seasons. The pricing is always very competitive compared to other grocery stores and I love how they have a «grab and go» food section that has a large variety of prepped snacks and meals.
Their produce is always fresh and their meats are always of high quality. You never have to worry about getting a «bad batch» of something.

Big place, wide aisles and lots of checkout stands open… and I went on a Sunday! Really liked all the makings for a great salad grouped together near the greens (dressings, canned veggies, olives, oils)

Like all Trader Joe’s, I haven’t had any problems with them and they always offer good quality products. Friendly employees, good food, yummy samples… not much else you could ask for in a grocery store!

I prefer this store over the one on rosemead. The store is larger and i feel that they have a better stock overall than any other location. Employees are very friendly and helpful here. Remember to bring your re-​usable bag because they charge for paper bags. Basically you will find everything you need in this local trader joes! Conveniently in a plaza with lots of other fantastic places like Marshalls, Chipotle, Smashburger, Kohls, Panda, Sally Hansens etc.

Great TJ’s location. Large parking lot shared with other businesses. Great reminders to bring my reusable bag in the parking lot (because I always forget).
The staff is super friendly and always willing to strike up a conversation with you about what you’re buying and willing to make your day better :) Selection is pretty solid — try their rib eyes, which are about $ 6-​$ 7 for a good small piece and individually sealed so you don’t have to eat more than one at a time. Plus try the dark chocolate peanut butter cups!

This is my local Trader Joe’s and I’ve been spoiled by it. Just ask anyone who has to frequent the one off Rosemead Blvd. or Arroyo Pkwy. in Pasadena. This TJ’s has an enormous parking lot, sharing with Bed, Bath & Beyond, Party City, Sally’s Beauty Supply, Toys R Us, Marshall’s, Chuck E. Cheese’s & Kohl’s. Whew.
So what I normally pick up is their pre-​packaged kale, multi-​grain loaf, fresh mozzarella, garlic naan, mac & cheese, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, Korean kalbi beef, EVOO, and cinnamon rolls! yum! I always love (partially) grocery shopping in here.

I love this place, employees are super friendly all the time and they always have everything I need… especially coconut oil :)
Their flower selection is also amazing!

My family and I started going to Trader Joe’s many years ago when the big supermarkets went on strike. One of my brothers had been an employee of Vons for 17 years, and as a show of solidarity and support, we started shopping at TJ’s. Like many around Southern California, we sort of never really went back… To the big supermarkets that is.
Instead, we have come to enjoy all the Trader Joe’s has to offer. This Monrovia store in particular is likely one of the best around. They have an excellent selection of organic fruits and vegetables, fresh breads, Dairy and cheeses. My kids preferred Jo Jo’s to Oreos, and drink Trader Joe’s buttermilk right out of the carton. Seriously, it’s a Lithuanian thing.
The wide aisles, variety of different foods, condiments, vitamins, dried fruits and nuts… Beer and wine… as Jake said in the Blues Brothers: this place has everything!
To ensure that you never go back to a supermarket where they treat you like garbage, checking out at the Trader Joe’s is nothing short of a phenomenal customer service experience. I have never met a kinder group of people in any profession. I’m sure their training regimen is exceptional– they always ask how things are going, how your weekend is going, what’s new at work, did you find everything you want, have you tried a particular product… and then unlike the surrounding communities, they double bag everything in paper bags and they don’t hit you up for a bunch of dimes. Monrovia, that’s alright!
Since I essentially live on a steady diet of hard-​boiled eggs (that’s not a Lithuanian thing… That’s a Dukan thing), I should probably mention that they have a dozen eggs for 1.79.
