I’ve been coming here for well over 10 years, since before the new owners took over a couple of years ago. I grew up in Montclair and went to Watchung School so I’m not a newbie. I always get the Montclair sub and ask them to pack it separately for the 5 hour plane ride back to LA. But check this out: I’m only in there maybe three times a year, and the nice guy and lady behind the deli counter (not the owners) remember me and know exactly what I want done. I’m always impressed that they remember a guy who comes maybe 3 – 4 times a year! I can’t speak to the other people who reviewed and maybe it’s management that’s faulty, but the deli people are the best, and the subs are awesome!

I had a terrible experience at this deli. Since it’s establishment, the food and service quality has rapidly declined. I decided to give this place one more chance as not many other places were open on Memorial day. Bad decision. I first want to say that I am not the type of person who bad mouths restaurants, I generally am pretty easy going, and it takes a lot for me to have a bad experience. But my time here was awful.
I came here with 2 friends and ordered a total of 3 subs. Two of the three subs were not made correctly. First they were both supposed to be wrapped. For my friends sandwitch, that was the only mistake, for mine… it was the least of my worries. My sub was supposed to have both chicken and steak… but the steak was simply forgotten, not included in the sub at all. But that wasn’t even the worst of it… the chicken that was included was literally BURNT to a crisp. I’m not talking a little overcooked… I mean flat out inedible completely black burnt. Don’t waste your money here.

Offers breakfast sandwiches quickly when you’re on the go. My favorite place to get breakfast before work.
It’s a mix of corner store and sandwich shop.
Iced coffee is pretty good too!

Not sure why the other person had an issue. Always good (which other reviewer admitted) and plenty of choices — no need to make life complicated.

Good food. However they have a mind of their own when making your sandwich. I asked for a simple chicken cutlet, pesto, and mozzarella panini and instead I got pesto, chicken, bacon, Avacado, onions, and peppers. Once I peeled off the extra ingredients I was left with a weak sandwich. Just make sure you check your order before you leave
