Central Video

I ABSOUTLY LOVE THIS PLACE. I’m glad that there’re is still video stores to rent from Yes Redbox is great, but you are limited to the selection. At least with video stores you have a variety to choose from. They have a variety of kids movies as well. I go in there grab my movie, my kids grab their movies, then we all leave happy!!!

YES! FIRST TO REVIEW THIS PLACE! BADGE #2 HERE I GO! This will probably be short. Alright it shouldn’t be a shock I’m the first to review a. video renting store. Like who the hell would want to review one anyway? you go in and you go out with your movie, video game or porn.
Real talk: How are renting places still in business? like who the hell rents movies anymore? Hasn’t everyone switched to netflix redbox or simply just downloading them like WTF REALLY how are these places still in business. It must be the porn! My friend ryan who works at a video renting store once told me some guy has checked out 6k worth of porn. Insane. But really the bigger question is WHO THE FUCK rents porn when its free online?!
I’m giving this place a 5 because of nostalgic memories and the fact that the owner, I believe his name is Tim is a pretty cool dude and he hired my sister after my brother talked to him. So thats pretty cool to me.
Me and a few friends (Noe, Emilio, Edgar «TC») would always rent movies a lot and buy extra large drinks at the gas station next door. For some reason all my friends must have been thirsty fuckers because i always took forever drinking my soda and they killed that shit quick. The fuck? NAH! im probably just slow at drinking. But seriously we would always go into central video with no clue as to what movie we would watch so we always took 1 – 2 hours in there deciding on a movie. No lie LOL. We would always show each other movie covers that looked stupid as fuck and just bullshit around. One time i actually called my sister while she was working to ask if i can eat the cheese balls she had. My friend noe was actually checking out a movie while she was on the phone with me. So that was pretty hilarious! Small world.
Anyway does anyone remember cheese balls from the peanut man company? Planters? They’re discontinued now but fuck i use to love those so much i wish they brought em back sigh.
But yeah this is a good place to rent movies and i think its only like a buck and plus a lot of the times they get the movies before street date and start renting it out early so thats down! But like i said who the fuck rents movies anymore? R.I.P Central Video, i liked you but we all know netflix or something is gonna take over everything real soon. It was good knowing you, lets see how long you stay in business.
