The staff never gets an order right and when you kindly tell them, they are rude to you. By far the worst DD in the area. I will now go out of my way to go to a better store. They also give you an attitude when you use a coupon or DD perks reward.

My order is incorrect more often than not– or at least that’s how it feels. Today they took it a step further– it was a little busy and they called out a «cookie dough» flavored coffee, I said«I ordered coconut», it was busy so I thought someone else could’ve ordered it. A minute later someone came over said«coconut?» I said«yup, thank you very much!» Got in the car and it was cookie dough(!) — they totally just did the old walk away and then just give me the same exact drink. When I get in early, between 5:45 and 6:30 am, it’s fine because they aren’t busy, but as soon as there are a more than a few people things drastically change. They rush me along, do not listen to what I am saying, and then often times make mistakes. I wish they would take 5 – 10 extra seconds per person to listen and essentially appreciate their customers. I love the Edison location for this– they are almost always packed and crazy busy, but they take the time to hear me– they actually have my drink ready for me from time to time too– and I am a loyal customer to them when I’m in the area(I live in Montclair). I’ve been going to the Montclair location everyday now for months(after a complete break from coffee…) and it’s like I’m a first time customer every time– every. time…

This Dunkin location is a nice little shop that is located on Valley Rd in Montclair. This store is nestled in between a bunch of mom and pop shops, so it feels a little out of place. In addition, this location is small. There is seating, albeit limited. No drive thru option, coupled with a lack of a private parking lot makes getting your daily Dunkin a hassle; especially during rush hour. The shop itself is clean, and the servers are kind. Service is fast and friendly. Not a bad place for a caffeine fix, but only if you can find a parking spot.

They have UPDATED this location. I’ve never seen a Dunkin’ like this one. You can still enter from the back or front, so easy parking wise. They have booths now, and comfy chairs instead of the area where the high tables were. There’s even an area a little removed with a Plexiglas shield, presumably for those studying or perhaps where you go to take a call? Either way, it looks great. The service here remains«service with a smile» and its so nice. The faces behind the counter have changed but the pleasant environment has remained. I don’t know what the other reviews are about but I’ve always had great service here and I really like the new layout.

Everytime I have been here. The service is great. When I buy their coffee they are kind and have given me a break. My experience is positive. If you treat people with respect they will give it back to you.

If it wasn’t for the fact that this Dunkin’ Donuts was nicely located in heart of Upper Montclair and with ample parking, this store should have been closed by now. Customer service is probably the worst I have had at Dunkin’. They should learn from their competitors(ie. Starbucks). If you repeat the order outloud it shouldn’t be F’d up like it does at Dunkin’. The staff rushes you to order and then they mess it up. The attitude of the staff shouldn’t been tolerated, this isn’t the Capitol Grill. My suggestion is head over to the Starbucks down the street or different DD location.
