History

Established in 2010.

Pamela has been healing/​massaging friends and family all her life. She was working at Goldman Sachs in 2008 when the financial disaster hit. Along with thousands of others, she was dismissed. She saw this as a wake-​up call. Time to do what she was always meant to do. She attended The Swedish Institute, the Harvard of massage schools, where she learned how to professionally utilize her natural talent for healing. In 2010 she founded Olsen Shiatsu & Massage, where she spends most of her time helping pregnant women, geriatric patients, and visitors who come to NY needing a brief respite from their travels.

Pamela is Licensed in NY, Board Certified in NJ, and Nationally Certified as a Massage Therapist and Shiatsu Practitioner. She holds over 1,500 hours of formal training, including continuing ed from «the Harvard of Massage Schools»,

The Swedish Institute in Manhattan.

She has provided over 1,000 treatments, and in addition to working on the general population in her private practice, has also treated the following populations in Manhattan: dancers @ Hunter College; hospital staff @ Beth Israel; Senior Citizens & the Physically/​Hearing Impaired @ Penn South Retirement Home; Senior Citizens @ the Swedish Institute; Cancer Patients @ the JCC; and Faculty & Students of the

Swedish Institute.
