Pinot’s Palette

I really didn’t know what to expect but this was a lot of fun. All you have to do is supply the drinks and they provide everything else you might need for a fun night of painting. The instructors are great and very friendly. This is fun for everyone of all ages regardless of your artistic abilities. It’s cool that at the end you get to take home a finished project that you’ve created.

Wow! Such a great time!!! Went with friends for a bday event. Totally worth it. It was ladies night, discount painting $ 29. It’s a BYOB so you can really make the event your own (even though there are others there) they provide everything you need, flatware, plates napkins glasses and wine openers, you just bring your own food & beverage. instructors are great and let you do your own thing to make the picture yours. Make it unique. It’s a nice studio. Very clean. Organized bright. Highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Awesome place to go for a girl’s night. Highly recommend. Only comment is that it’s kind of fast paced. I would appreciate classes being a little longer and not feel so rushed. Others felt similarly.

Came here a few months back and had a great time. Perfect for date night and doing something different with friends. First off I am not artistic at all so don’t worry you don’t have to be. They walk you through step by step. I even messed up to the point i got frustrated but my girlfriend helped me out and at the end I was amazed at how it came out. It is bring your own alcohol which is awesome. We didn’t know it before hand but you can bring food as well. I definitely will be back. Check their website for themes of the painting and to purchase. I think we paid $ 90 for two.
Create Memories!

We came here with a group of people and had a great time. We got there half hour early and we were able to eat some food, relax, and catch up.
The painting process was fun and relaxed. However, when it got towards the end of the session we all felt a bit rushed. I do know they had another class coming in, but if that were the case i feel like they need to alot more time for each painting class. Our teacher was nice and knowledgable.
We all left happy and with a nice painting, just wish we werent so rushed at the end.
We were able to book a party entirely for ourselves. I believe you need at least 12 people. Theres metered parking in the area, paid parking, and some free parking around the surrounding blocks.

Perfect place for a girls night out! Went here with a bunch of friends and actually rented out the entire space for a private party (we only needed to guarantee 10 or so). The place was bright and spacious and the employees/​artists were super helpful.
First piece of advice — book in advance — this place is popular! There are a ton of paintings to choose from, and if you have a private party, you can choose your own painting. The instructors are really good artists and their technique is awesome. This isn’t one of those places where they already have stuff drawn in for you on the canvas. You do everything. They were able to get a girl like me, who could barely draw a stick figure, to paint a piece that is up in my living room and actually gets compliments!
Bottom line, it’s really a super fun place to go. Something out of the ordinary where you can still get your drink on. Definitely an experience worth trying! I can’t wait to go back!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I have zero artistic talent whatsoever but I loved how they teach you how to paint. You can relax here alone or with some friends and you are welcome to bring wine, snacks, etc. They provide you with supplies and the smock so you don’t need to worry about your clothes getting ruined. All their new month schedules are released on the 15^th of each month so be sure to book early because the dates fill up
fast! :)

Such a wonderful experience! I have gone three times! Twice with friends and once with my mother — each time has been so fun! I love that you get to bring your own bottle of wine and yummy snacks (fruit and cheese platters)…I am not artistic at all but the woman teaching the class goes step by step and was extremely patient. When finished, I was actually impressed! Totally recommend going to Pinot’s Palette — great for a group of friends, family, and when I went there was a bachelorette party

BYOB! (and snacks) — you’ll be asked to come a half hour earlier than your scheduled time so that you have time to eat and settle in.
This is best for groups, but I feel that singles and couples can also enjoy this experience, too. My class was mostly made up of women of all ages and a few younger men.
The women that were teaching the class were very kind and patient and really did try to accommodate all the requests that they got from everyone that night.
The only thing I disliked were not having much elbow room between the painters that were next to me. One wrong move could have ruined someone’s painting and/​or clothing. Luckily, there were no issues that night. Lol.
Most of us left with a painting that we were proud of. Others, however, drank a little too much wine and painted trees that would have left Bob Ross rolling in his grave.

Awesome experience! I was very hesitant at first because I have the artistic ability of a 2 year old BUT the instructors of the class were able to get me to paint a beautiful picture! My husband couldn’t even believe I painted it!
The space is very nice and organized. You have more then enough space for your party to bring wine and fun appetizers to enjoy. They also do private parties which you can book in advance and paint whatever painting you want. I’m already planning an event with my friends! Definitely a great place for girls night out or date night.

We had a great time here. we brought a bunch of bottles of wine that they have glasses for and put them on ice for you and we brought cheese and crackers that they put on a side table for you. The studio is great and not over crowded –the vibe is fun with music playing and fun instructors. Using Amazon local discount we got tickets half price! I deff recommend going on a date or a double date or with a group of girls. we went on a double date and had a great time! My painting turned out being a little different than everyone else’s some how…

First time ever trying something like this out and it was so much fun. We had a group of 8 girls for a friends birthday and they had our seats all reserved already so we all sat together. We forgot the wine but fear not because there is a liquor store up the street! The class was a ton of fun and really made you bring out your creative side.
Next time i am definitely going to bring snacks or food because its about a 3 hour class and we were starving after. I will definitely be going back for another painting! The paintings dry really fast so your able to take your masterpiece home with you the same day.

Fun place to drink eat and paint! You can BYOB and bring whatever munchies you want to eat and you get a step-​by-​step painting class — The only thing I would add is we need a little more elbow room to paint, you’re seated very close to the person next to you and may possibly get bumped which may possibly ruin your painting lol. Other than that I’m going back no doubt about it :)

Our gathering of 20 women had such a blast at Pinot Palette, in Montclair. Colleen was very accommodating, hospitable and gracious. They provide everything except the good and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed having a private party there. The environment was clean, organized and well stocked with cutlery, platters, anything we could think of to display our food and drinks. The teacher was professional and taught the class appropriately. Would definitely go there again.

Talk about deviating from the typical Saturday night. Although probably not an entirely new concept to everyone this was definitely a new idea for me. A group of 6 of us went Saturday night for a friend’s birthday. Not knowing what to expect we were greeted with welcoming arms and guided to our stations. Everybody seemed happy and eager to begin, must have been the wine that filled everyone’s glass. Once we began the instructor was direct, informative and helpful to those who needed «extra» attention.
I was feeling a little discouraged as I felt like my painting wasn’t looking like it should but was instructed to just keep going. And I will say this by the end of it I was surprised at the masterpiece that I created.
This whole place is an experience. One where skill level doesn’t matter, prior instruction or experience doesn’t matter but only what is happening in the moment.
Take the plunge try something different and new. You’ll be happy that you did.

This place is a blast. I’ve been here twice once on a date and another time I celebrated my birthday here with a private party. Both experiences were five stars. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The place is very well organized and all instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. It’s a great place to go with a group of friends or on a date. I’m no artist by any means and I’m proud of all my paintings I’ve done here!

You may not be the next Van Gogh or Titian, but with the help of the staff at Pinot’s Pallette and a plethora of wine and/​or beer, you might just create a beautiful painting.
The staff will guide you step by step in order to recreate a replica through your eyes of the chosen painting of the night. You will be provided a canvas (big white thing you paint on), three brushes (small, medium and large), and acrylic paint (pretty cheap, water based paint that works well). You will sit in groups and chatter, drink and paint while having fun.
You can bring some snacks, keep your drinks cold and even have the option of buying some personal wine glasses here.
This place is the perfect spot for an adult party. It allows you to communicate, learn, and get wasted.

The staff at Pinot is amazing, they make painting your «masterpiece» a piece of cake. I am so happy to have attended, I would probably pass this place a million times and not try it, however it was so much fun, time flew by and I discovered that with the instructors guidance I could create my own «piece of art». During the process it does not feel so, however with every step, you get closer and more confident.
The music selection was perfect for the activity, fun-​upbeat or melodious-​mellow.
The couple next to me was hilarious, she was having a «controlled meltdown» every step of the way «omg, why am I so nervous, I don’t know where to start» and he was hilarious «I see you are just branches all over, how many more do you need, are you just going to keep branching out?» Even the guys who were here tonight were having a blast.
I had so much fun I want to come back with all my friends, I think I want to have my birthday here.

Loved this place. It’s perfect for a date, birthday or girly time. Don’t forget to bring your wine and snack. Certainly I recommend !
