Stereo USA Plus

Worst place ever. When I purchased a premium stereo from them they were very helpful, but as soon as they got their money, the service stopped. They wired my stereo incorrectly causeing the battery to run down at night. I took the car back 7 times to the Montclair location and 2 times to the Covina location each time they said they fixed the problem. Three times when I took my car back on my off day, they told me to bring it back another day when they had more employees. Eventually I took my car to Mercedes Repair, they found they Stereo Plus had incorrectly installed the power cable. They fixed it but I was out of a lot of money. Stereo Plus never offered me any compensation for my time and money. Buyers be ware!!!

Came here to have my double din installed on my corvette, first guy says the radio kit not in stock I ordered it to come back the next morning, went across the street to audio vision they had it in stock and charging $ 25 less. So I went back to get a refund the dick head Anthony comes out and says no don’t do it there they used to work here and don’t do good work they’ll make you come back their not straight up and honest, he found the kit and can install it now, keeps telling me he’s honest & straight up. Ok cool install it then, a hour later hell its installed and he’s telling me he thought he had it and doesn’t and I have to come back tomorrow, ok fast forward this morning my cars dead in the morning they didn’t install the power properly I’m stuck on my only day off get it jumped come back, Anthony’s got a shitty attitude no wonder this place has such shitty reviews pos store, fuck boy from yesterday pointing his finger at me disrespectful refused to finish their job or refund me, don’t do business here finished the job literally across the street at audio vision with honest and good people and I will be complaining to BBB DONT GO HERE AUDIO VISION IS ACROSS THE STREET NO HASSLE AND QUALITY work + to add, the employee says if I write a bad review they will have all the employees write bad reviews at my establishment, will complain to bbb & city

BUYERS DO NOT INSTALL ANYTHING AT THIS SHOP! My husband and I went to get a system installed on our 2007 Nissan Titan. Anthony, the sales rep promised too much and didn’t do crap. After they have your money their attitude will completely change, they are extremely rude. To make a long story short, the installation was terrible, completely unprofessional. I can’t explain how many times we went back to get it repaired and ask for a refund but this store is sketchy on the sales receipt they state no refund so sadly most of their customers are taken advantage of. They broke the original items on my truck, the ones they «installed» don’t work and to top it off they left many things on my truck that are now not functioning well. They didn’t want anything to do with it and didn’t want to repair. Honestly, I regret the day I walked into that store. They are dishonest, rude and offensive. I would give them 0 stars if I had the option. Don’t believe what they say, they will promise you great service at first but as soon as you pay you will notice the difference. I am not sure how they are still in business. Anthony I really hope you read this and know that we are now getting professional work done at AL & ED’s Autosound in Ontario, their service has been great since the beginning and cannot be compared to your customer service.

Best place to go get audio fuck the other little shop dont ever go there they just rob you i lost 400 $ there witch didnt work and i could of got it done for 150… but anyways Anthony at stereo usa is a great guy and hooked me up with a good deal on a amp go to him if you need your radio hooked up

Came to get a quote to have my amp installed. They blew me away with their fees. I went to another stero place and they were charging me over 3 times the amount and said I needed all these additional items. So when I came to stero USA I was expecting a large fee. When he told me the fee and that I didn’t need all the extra items and I didn’t even need one of the amps I had, I was sold. No games, no over charging just honest people not trying to get over on their customers. I will definitely be back to upgrade my system and possibly rims too!!!

I had tint put on my windows, speakers, amp and a subwoofer installed in my car at the end of April. Anthony helped me through the entire process of choosing the right components for my needs and wants with the sound in my car. The tint came out perfect. Anthony answered all my questions in detail. He even dropped me off at a nearby nail salon and picked me up while I was waiting for my car. How awesome is that?!. I’m extremely pleased with the finished work and the price I paid. Great customer service and not pushy.
I would recommend this place to anyone needing stereo or tint don’t to their car.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. I really can’t understand the less than satisfied reviews for this shop.
I’m planning more upgrades to my system in the near future and will be returning to this shop for all of it.

BEWARE!!! Just like the other bad reviews. This place is ALL TALK! They sweet talk their deal to make a sale and don’t follow through with anything the sales guy tells you they’ll do. Crappy installation. We had a whole system put in and I had to go back myself and fix and clean up crap from them. Nothing was even aligned in my dash when they were done. Take my word and take your money somewhere else! Wolves in Sheeps clothing big time! They don’t even deserve my 1 star!

Warning warning do not shop at this place even though its not audio America no more they’re still the same employees. And do not deal with!!! Anthony!!! he is a rip off he’ll tell you he could get things done but never checks with the installer… in the back I was talking to one of the installer and he was pissed off at him because he said that Anthony always does that he never checks in the back and they expect the work to be done on the same day they do not communicate it is so bad that your car will not get out until the next day the lie to you as much as they can to make the deal … And they try to sell you HID that cost $ 17 $ 120… If you want get GOOD service go across the street audio version. They have a great installer his name is Rene everything good no problem…

Worst experience ever. Took my 2015 blue honda accord for tint the job had many bubbles the tint guy kept saying it will go away with the sun. I demanded new tint be put on or fixed. They said no they were booked. Then they gave me excuses that they were booked so I had to go back in 1 week. Rude service provided STAY AWAY! Don’t go Here !!! they are a rip off and are con artists. They installation sucks and they just slap shit together. The use high pressure sale tactics to get you to buy. they lie through there teeth to make a sale and they don’t back up anything that they do.
Buyer Beware of this shop. Don’t go here there are lots of other shops ion the area that are way better. Do your research and price stuff before you buy.

they will tell you anything to get you to buy their product’s. None of their products have a sticker price so this means that you are at their mercy. They have young inexperienced people installing stereos. They are nice at first but once they have your money their attitude totally changes.

Horrible Horrible place… reason is they do very poor installation. Definitely would never recommend this place. Left trash all over my car, used wrong wire size, fuses not even big enough to support the amps, broken clamps on my door panels.. Overall just a poor messy job. Furthermore they don’t even explain anything to you after about the installation.
A few weeks after I went back because my sub wasn’t hitting anymore, the guy told me the sub was out and wouldn’t work anymore. Had to leave for class so I said I’d come back later. While driving I heard rattling in my trunk, look inside and find the sub all dismembered with of course more trash. What’s worse is that I take it to another shop recommended by a friend and they not only find out the sub works perfectly fine but that the wiring all over was done horribly causing the system to not hit to its full potential. Words can’t describe my dislike for this shop. DO NOT give them your business!

Came here to get a system for my 2014 Subaru. Prices were okay. And the finance was cool. But the reason for the one star is because their installation is crappy! Very unprofessional. I picked up my car and it smelled like cigarette smoke. But I just said whatever and rolled down the windows. After a couple days I started to notice the rattling. I walked around the car and checked out the door panels. My driver side panel had a broken clip. –_​_​_​_​– it’s a new car. Clips shouldn’t be breaking. But that just means their crew don’t know how to pop panels without breaking anything. I even asked the guy I wanted a clean job. No clips broken. He assured me that his team works clean. Broken clips isn’t clean. Then I went to the rear, behind the driver and another clip broken. It was a little triangular piece that’s on the door. That was all wobbly and broken. I’m mad about that. It’s my 1^st new car that I purchased on my own and not even 6 months and I got broken clips!!! My integra probably had less broken clips than my new car.
Thennnnn I went to the passenger door panel… Same thing… BROKEN CLIPS. The tweeter (small speaker) wasn’t even on the door cause a little clip was broken. I’m about to make them buy me new panels at the dealer cuhs that’s not fair. :-(the only side that was fine was the rear behind passenger. Probably learned from all the clip breaking and was careful on that side only.
I’m very Disappointed on their installation.
Oh and I decided to check the wires and make sure they are in good. Popped my hood and the fuse wasn’t even bolted on the chassis or anything. It was just there loosely next to the battery. I got so mad, didn’t even bother to check the rest out. I would’ve ran into other disappointments.
Products is okay. Pricing is okay. Finance is pretty cool of them to do. BUT INSTALLATION IS HORRIBLE. Buy your stuff and do it yourself. It will be better in the long run.

Second time and last time I go to this spot. The first time was a good experience, but only cuz I wanted a basic Bluetooth stereo and four speakers. With that purchase, they gave me free speaker boxes.
Second visit was disappointing. I did some online research on subs and amps. I asked questions based on my research, just to confirm things. The guy «helping» me was dismissive and couldn’t give any helpful info on any of their products. Like if he had no back knowledge on anything.
I left and went elsewhere. Got real help and found a place to do business. Thanks for nothing Stereo USA Plus.

Just left this store super happy ! Got a great deal for an entire system (not just the bass) in my car ! I really recommend this place they also offer finance with no credit needed. Take advantage. Can’t wait to pick up my car tomorrow and hear how great it sounds.

Omg where is the choice of NO STARS?!? Lol dudes were rude. Trying to tell me kicker was whack. I’m sure it’s not the best either but they tried to sell me some crap I never heard of. I called this place earlier asked them if they carried a certain kicker speaker, they said they had it. Drove over here, they gave me the run around, tried to tell me a DS speaker was better than the KSC If u know kicker you’d know that’s not true, I should call kicker and tell them they need to watch out for this distributor who doesn’t know jack about their speakers. The main guy there called for the speaker some place else, he obviously didn’t think that I understood His language, cuz he was asking the guy if he at least had the box of the type of speakers I wanted and switch those suckers out with something else. Dude, is the hustle that bad in these streets right now?!? Car stereo places always try to hustle you but damn, haha, they took the cake on this one.

Be on the lookout with pricing. Called before I went in asking for a quote on a stereo installation. They quoted me $ 25 dollars. Upon arriving they said I needed some cables (I had the stereo and the mounting kit) and charged me another $ 10 dollars. They added a tax fee of another $ 3 dollars so I ended up paying $ 40 dollars for an installation I had been quoted for $ 25. Stay away from this place.

BEWARE THIS SHOP! It cost me $ 750 to uninstall their alarm and fix the electrical problems they created! On 11÷27÷11 we paid them to install a security alarm to my 2008 Ford Mustang. I was leery of them to begin with because the sales assoc acted shady insisting I give him some cash for the sale and not itemizing my receipt. Then there were many problems with the alarm after it was installed, and it took several re-​visits for them to «fix» the issues. During those visits they were rude to me and made me feel uneasy about their work. Then in August 2012, I began having electrical problems with the car. It has taken me four months to find the problem and cost me over $ 750 in rental car fees and repair costs to diagnose the car. The problem ended up being their shoddy installation work. They used too big of crimps and their wires had become separated, causing my car’s door sensor to intermittently malfunction whenever I went over a bump. Whenever the wires completely lost contact, it would not shut the brain of the car down when the driver’s door opened, thereby running down my battery. They also used stereo wire instead of the standard wire used for alarms, and I was told that the alarm they installed was only working intermittently due to their poor work. They cut wires that were not supposed to be cut, and just left them hanging. I had to pay another shop to uninstall their alarm and put it back to factory condition. There was no way I was going to trust the technicians Stereo USA with my car ever again. They should actually be forced to shut down their business because there are many complaints about them.
