The pretzels. To die for. There is not a better chocolate covered pretzel made anywhere! The chocolate is top-​notch and if your lucky enough to go there when they’ve made their chocolate covered twinkies or zingers…
The owner, Paul, understands the complete package, which is why every time you purchase candy here is packaged beautifully. Gift bags, ribbon, tissue. Gorgeous and fun. If you have not been to this place, what are you waiting for???

The is a cute little shop next to Angelbecks spirits. The have a great selection of cards, gifts and treats. Awesome fork n spoon chandelier. Lots of local «Glen Ridge» or «Montclair» gifts such as coasters and mugs. I bought my Aunt a box of Red Velvet truffles from here and she said they were delicious. I had the red hot chocolate covered cherries and they were pretty good. Chocolate us a but pricey — my friend found out when she bought a $ 3 pretzel — unfortunately there were no prices in the case. The daytime staff is great and really helpful.

Other Upper Montclair Gift stores should take a cue from your store.
I just stopped in to browse today. The shop has the most adorable unique gifts. All within a reasonable price range. I didn’t buy anything. However, I was greeted nicely upon entry and received a «Thank you» as I was leaving.
Other gift shop proprietors might do the first half, but don’t follow through if you don’t buy anything. Another scenario, they see you’re about to leave, then they ask if you need any help. By that time,“Tooooo Late”.
I shall return to Sweet Home Montclair!

I’ve come here several times since moving to Mtc & neglected to write about it. Today I’m moved to!
Over the visits, I’ve purchased stationary, small gifts, greeting cards, jewelry, stuffed animals for my kids, home décor, soap, candles, candy, etc… this place is full of unexpected surprises. It’s curated & decorated in the most beautiful way & the owner is friendly and approachable. Today I bought the coolest interactive paper placemats for my son’s party, Mother’s Day gifts, & some ridiculously good chocolate covered pretzels. From the stylish window display outside, it’s hard to tell how froufrou it is or isn’t but I’m happy to report my 4 yr old was not «eyed» like he is at other establishments & it’s such a relief to be able to shop w/​him in tow.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise this place is! This place makes all their own chocolate candies, and they are UNBELIEVABLE! They make everything from their own peanut butter cups to Malomars. Not a fan of milk chocolate? They have dark too! This place is really a treat and one of montclairs best kept secrets. I cannot recommend it enough.

Always stop by when in the area. Like getting gifts for Vday and Easter here especially. You can browse to heart’s content yet there is always staff readily available should you require assistance. I never feel like I am being hawked which is the case in many other boutiques and ruins the whole treasure hunting atmosphere for me. Customer service and attention to detail is above and beyond. They will package and wrap beyond your expectations. They treat every purchase like its super expensive even when it is no where near. Great gifts for the home, stationery, chocolate, candy confections and much more. It’s a great spot.
