999 Mongolian BBQ

It’s a total hole-​in-​the-​wall, but the food is awesome! You get your MBBQ, rice, soup & a side for $ 8 a person! You don’t get to pick your flavored, like others I’ve been to, but their flavor is awesome! It looks like the couple who own it always work there. For Mongolian, it’s really good. For what it is, it’s pretty awesome!

This place is SUPER divey. But the lady and the guy are SUPER SWEET! You help yourself to a buffet of raw food and vegetables and they cook it up for you. While you’re waiting they hook you up with free soup and salad. Tons of food for only 7 bucks! This place is a GREAT find!

Have you ever been at home watching a movie then all of a sudden hunger strikes? You start Unilocaling, looking for places but nothing seems to catch your eye? Then you scroll to discover that a hole in the wall place right down the street is the answer you’ve been looking for.
This place is in a small plaza, currently no lights are illuminating the sign so this definitely is something you’d have to really look for.
When you walk in you’re greeted by a nice lady whom it feels like it’s your friends grandma and you’re dropping by for a meal.
You step up to the bar, probably not the one you’re used to, this ones filled with various meats and veggies. You fill your bowl with as much meat as you’d like. I like the variety and how they offer seafood as well, not something you usually see at a Mongolian bbq place. The same goes with veggies, stack em as high as you’d like. At the end you throw your own garlic and chilis on and send it to the chef. AND on top of your mountain of food, it also includes rice and soup.
All in all, the food is delicious and inexpensive. $ 7 what a steal! I recommend this place and definitely will be coming back.

Shit is kill. I love the food it is so fresh, and clean, recommend to anyone, as long as your not in a rush and ou can eat comfortably, filled me up and I am definitely going to go back, I wouldn’t mind eating there again day after day

Really great hole in wall place. Very sweet couple run the place. You get A LOT of food for what you pay for, so highly recommended for a cheap and yummy lunch/​dinner.

Great price, tasty food, nice people. What’s not to like! I honestly have nothing bad to say. This place won’t change your life but it will fill you up and won’t empty your wallet.

So my husband found this place while at work. He rarely raves about food places so when he told me about this one I knew I had to try it. We drive from long Beach and man it was so worth it! The lady at the cashier greeted us right when we walked it and have me directions.. she said grab a plate get as much as you’d like. I packed my plate with veggies and some meat. the older man cooking was very nice…

I had a serious craving for Mongolian food and I was so happy I found this place. The price was great but the food was even better! I’ve been to several other restaurants and they have a bigger selection but this place had just what you needed. I was a little hesitant at first because the place looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but after taking my first bite, I’m going to return very soon. Every plate you get it comes with a free bowl of rice and soup which tastes pretty great as well. So if you’re looking for something cheap and tasty I definitely recommend this to you.

Best mom and pop mangolian on this side of town. They have more than 4 meats and it was delicious. Price point is spot on. You can have a vegetarian meal or go full canivore.

Definitely a dive Mongolian BBQ spot. It’s just mom n pops but the service is great. She is the sweetest ever. If any of the veggies or meats are running low, she will replenish them right away. I’m all for supporting family businesses!

Very good location, we don’t have many of these other than the one’s we have at the mall. Very clean, people were friendly (Mom and Pop), plenty of parking. Food is raw laid out on the table. But it doesn’t stop there they have many more food options. If you do get the Mongolian BBQ They give you a bowl you pack it til’ you can’t pack anymore. If you like to stuff your plate like me i highly recommend.

While this place may look small it is full of flavor. I was greeted by a quaint older lady as soon as i walked in. She was very nice and got right to it, putting a bowl and tray right in front of the meat for me. After getting my bowl packed up with goodies i handed it off to the older gentleman in the back to be cooked. This place is truely a mom and pop shop.
The food was very good. Just enough spicy to warm up the mouth but still able it eat it. I wasnt too keen on the soup but then again … it was free with lunch. I will definitely be back for another round. My favorite part was that they had shrimp!

Ok, so I have been searching for a good Mongolian BBQ spot with no luck. I came here, and initially, I thought the place is too small. I didn’t think that I would be impressed, but once I got my first taste, I was like «Wow,!!!» I found my new spot. No lie, I love Mongolian BBQ. This place is a gem. It’s kinda hidden, but I definitely recommend it! All for 6.99 with free steamed rice and soup. Come give them a visit you won’t be disappointed.
