Bended-Knee

We hired Bended-​Knee for our wedding and we were thrilled from start to finish. We highly highly recommend working with them as a wedding florist. Also, after shopping around LA, their prices were very competitive and we were really happy with everything.
Johnny was easy to work with and even though we had a good idea of what he wanted, he took a lot of time to talk through the pros/​cons of using different flowers. He is very knowledgeable and made recommendations to help bring our vision to life. Johnny made samples for us and spent time with us adjusting every detail from the flower choices, to the flower placements to make sure it was perfect. Even though we agreed on the sample, we were blown away with how it looked at our wedding. We wanted an outdoorsy/​wildflower look and feel for our wedding. We had dozens of jars wrapped in burlap and had expected a few choice flowers in each, but Johnny made a beautiful arrangement for each one that really stood out in our photos.

They are truly wonderful to work with. I initially contacted them via email and they responded promptly. Johnny is very approachable and easy to work with. The flowers came out exactly as I have imagined and we have received a lot of compliments about them. He is very talented but down-​to-​earth and the staff is great too. I would definitely recommend them.

1 month before our big day, Jonny became our saving grace. We were 1 month from our wedding and ended up with a bunch of vases and no florist. I contacted Johnny and he put me at ease right away. He agreed to use the supplies I had and just provide the flowers, set up, and delivery. He did a beautiful job and gave us excellent pricing! I will definitely be using his services for all my future events!

Johnny did an amazing job creating the florals for our wedding last weekend. He is great to work with and was very helpful from the beginning. He is flexible with budget and is willing to go the extra mile. Our floral garlands were the highlight of our long tables. He also created amazing pieces for the wedding party. All if it just worked out great and complemented our wedding venue perfectly.

Johnny at Bended Knee made absolutely beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, arrangements, and other décor for my wedding. He listened intently as I described my (rather unconventional) taste, and nailed it. I’m just not a pastel rose and peony girl. Johnny really delivered, with vibrant tones, varied textures, and all-​around gorgeous flowers that everyone just adored!

First time here and I was very happy with the flowers and the customer service.
Very friendly staff and a price that was hard to beat.

Wow, what can I say about Johnny. He took care of all the flowers for my wedding and I really appreciated this flexibility and openness. I asked for rather non-​traditional centerpieces which required some creativity, and he delivered marvelously.
Everyone was very impressed with my bouquet and despite just a general guidance on the color palatte, the flowers were exactly what I imagined from the inspiration photos I sent him.
To boot, his pricing was very good and I was able to afford everything I wanted to have decorated.
While his flower shop itself isn’t super fancy, I really liked the pictures on his sites and I wasn’t disappointed at all. For anyone who wants to work within a budget, Johnny is a choice that’s tough to top.

My husband ordered flowers for my birthday yesterday 03÷17÷15. He had them delivered to my job. I was not really impressed with the flowers they arranged that was prepared for me. But what really upset me, was that they double charged our bank account. We called them to reverse one of the charges. They did but today there were two more charges to my account. This is so frustrating! I am glad that my account was not overdrawn. We will never use this company again. I am looking at the beautiful arrangements on the website and my arrangement looks nothing like I received.
I am glad to see that after posting my comment, Johnny R. emailed me back regarding my charges. That was very professional. I will reconsider using you guys on my next purchase. Thank you!

I highly recommend this place, they do same day flower delivery. The flowers were beautiful for a decent price.

I called this florist because I needed to send flowers to a church near them. Boy did I get lucky. I requested a spray arrangement that comes on a stand. They did a beautiful job! The people I sent it to loved them. Thank you!

10 years ago I had my Sweet Sixteen bouquet made at Guerrero Flower and Gifts and they did an amazing job. This past April I ordered my Wedding bouquet with Guerrero’s and it was exactly what I wanted. They were very helpful and listened to all my ideas, the price was very affordable.
I walked in for an estimate and pictures, I was helped my a friendly man who helped me tweak my design to fit a spring wedding. His daughter was also very helpful and helped with the process. My wedding bouquet was perfect and received, many compliments and photographed beautifully.
I highly recommend Guerrero’s!

If you don’t hire Johnny as your florist, you’re using the wrong person. My husband and I were married a month ago at Carondelet House in Los Angeles. We were referred to Johnny by our coordinator, Joyce Kim (who is an amazing wedding coordinator). She had worked with him before and said he does a great job. We had already met with 3 or 4 florist who were quoting us outrageous prices and also tried to take over our wedding with their ideas. We were quite discouraged thinking we would have to spend so much on just the flowers alone.
We met with Johnny on a Saturday morning, who is very quiet but don’t let that fool you, he’s just listening carefully to every detail you mention. A few weeks prior to the wedding he made us samples so well could approve or disapprove. He was dead on with what we wanted and were so impressed with what he presented based on such little info we had given at this point. His prices are amazing, he’s the nicest guy and very accommodating.
I received so many compliments on my bouquet and table arrangements. My absolute favorite was the table garland he put together for our sweetheart table. These compliments are easy to say because it was my wedding but I truly do believe he is amazingly talented and I am still in disbelief of how beautiful everything turned out. Johnny is your man! Call him!

Johnny did the flowers for my wedding this past weekend. They were GORGEOUS! I was surprised at the flowers he used in my bouquet — coral & white peonies, Juliet roses, tulips, freesia, & some other pretty flowers I can’t name because I don’t typically see them around. He originally told me he may not get tulips too! I wanted each reception table to have 7 small arrangements in various vases. Instead of making each table the same, he changed it up for each table (e.g. one table had peonies & freesia in a gold honeybear bottle while another had light green hydrangeas). Each of the peonies he got were bloomed & fluffy. I’ve seen complaints of other florists who provided unbloomed peonies at a high price tag. Not only is he very reasonable, he totally gets your vision and is so accommodating. HIGHLY recommend.

If you are looking for a superb florist for your wedding, look no further. Johnny Ronces is amazing. And when I mean amazing, I am factoring everything in. Presentation, personality, price, the list goes on and on.
He’s done a bunch of weddings for family members and friends and that is actually how we found him, word of mouth. He is based out of a mom ‘n pop florist shop in Montebello. Don’t let that deter you. His skill in his craft is really great.
Pricing definitely depends on what kind of flowers you want, how tall you want your pieces, etc etc, and what season it is. We are using him for our wedding, and I believe in spreading info on great, little known (on Unilocal) vendors.
