So i scheduled an appointment because i have 1 acne scar that i have had trouble getting rid off. I get assistance from one of the dermatologists (cant remember her name). She is very nice and kind but she does not recommend laser resurfacing for my scar she recommended the chemical peel which was affordable.
What really threw me off! Was that she told me she was going to give me some cream that contained retin a to lessen the appearance of my scar. I also told her that i did not want any cream that contained benzoul peroxide because this chemical has not helped me at all. As soon as i take off she gives me a tiny epiduo cream which i thought it was nice of her. But what i truly regret is that i read the ingredients that this cream had when i got back home. So dissapointed to see that this cream has benzoyl peroxide and does not have any retina.
I can’t believe i drove all the way to Montebello just to get benzoyl peroxide…
Also they did not accept my insurance because my insurance is an HMO.
