A nice selection of stuff here, but the customer service definitely leaves something to be desired. I asked someone who seemed to be a store manager for help — a middle aged hispanic woman, maybe 5’6″, medium length dark hair, heavy build. She told me that the store did not have what I was looking for. I felt like I was being dismissed, so I went to check on my own and found what I wanted in about five minutes. When I went to pay, the same woman and another employee left me standing there waiting for a good five minutes while they slowly counted out piles of cash.

This store has a great selection and awesome stuff. However I’m giving it a 5 star rating because Anais. She is an amazing person to have the patience for all my questions and found everything I asked for. She made Christmas shopping easier for me. Thank you ;)

Great selection. Reasonable prices. Costumer service was great. We came here for Batman day not really knowing what they sold. Pleasantly surprised to see a large variety of quality goods at great prices. William, the cashier, was very courteous and a great help. Definitely coming back!!!

The staff, from the management to cashier are all useless. They truly need an education is customer service. It’s as if they go out of their way just to be rude. I’d rather drive all the way to Fullerton than to visit here again. The staff at the other stores, specially Torrance are awesome… so it’s clearly a problem with this location only.

Aweful customer service. My husband went in last night to ask if they bought used movies, the girls reply was«No we’re closing».(Keep in mind it WAS more than 10 minutes till closing time, she still could have had enough time to at least answer his question). We went in again today to see if they bought used movies once again, and to sell them. This other girl was rude too! No manners. There are tons extremely friendly people out there who would be more than happy to take their jobs and do well at it.

went there last night since i was nearby. there arent many cd and dvd places left anymore since itunes came up so i like shopping at stores like this one. i went in a couple of minutes before they closed cause i saw a bin that had some dvds at 2 for $ 10. i had picked my movies(4 – 6 movies) and was about to head to the register when one employee yelled out that it was 9 o’clock, i had my back turned to the entrance and the lady who was closing it asked me very rudely if i needed help because they were closed. i put my movies down and grabbed my fiancé and left. really… the clock just turned 9. she didnt have to be rude about it. its montebello though… oh well. i’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on.

If you’re one of those people that still buys CDs, you probably know fye. They have dedicated metal, rock, rap, pop, latin, dance, and reggae sections, and those are the ones I remember. Great selection, like you’ll find at any fye. They also sell DVDs, BluRays, shirts, posters, action figures, candy, and more. Prices are on par with every other record shop I’ve been to, sometimes cheaper. Things are fairly disorganized(the biggest issue), so you might have to look to find what you want, but it’s worth it. I’ve gotten used versions of classic albums for as low as $ 4.99−5.99, and new albums for as low as $ 9.99−11.99. If you’re looking for a CD(which you should be doing, if you care about audio quality, as mp3s cut off 91% of the audio file that’s on a CD), this is the first place I’d go to.

WELLLLLLL… I guess, if you still purchase CD’s this is the place for you. I did find interesting Dexter Dolls that were a bit creepy.

Rather surprised to find this place un-Yelped when I ran across it. Your traditional brick and mortar music/video store. What a trip down memory lane this was. Didn’t think these even existed anymore! Cool and old school. Managed to find myself some ancient things called CDs. Those little round discs that when placed in an appropriate reader, would elicit music(wow, I know right?!) Also saw some rustic discs I believe were called DVDs, but I will have to research to verify it.
