IV Special Events provides five-​star bartending services to special events and celebrations across Los Angeles and Orange County. We specialize in creative and unique drink menus mixing everything from the classic cocktails everyone knows to our very own signature creations using fresh pressed juices and homemade syrups :)

We welcome the task of creating something new and special for our clients based on their preference, whether it’s a certain fruit, flavor, spirit, color or theme they’d like to incorporate for their menu.

History

Established in 2014.

IV Special Events was founded by husband and wife team Iveth and Vincent Navarro– a pair of bartenders /​mixologists who followed their passion of mixing drinks and event planning to create their own path to success.

It all started in 2012 when the two signed up for a bartending class in Long Beach, CA and began serving drinks at special events on weekends. Eventually Vincent found his way to tending bar at various bars and restaurants and Iveth continued her 9 – 5 while serving special events on the weekends.

The following year they recruited a handful of trusted bartenders to cover all the events they were booking and decided to take their business to the next level by acquiring some equipment and offering event rentals to their same clients, launching IV Special Events officially the first week of January 2014.

I am definitely using their services again. Very professional and easy to book. The tent I rented had a chandelier and it was a complete hit. They set up the tent, tables and chairs without a bother. Vincent was amazing and took the time to come back and made sure the tent was secure enough for the wind.

My husband and I hired this company for our wedding 7 months ago. Booking was a little difficult as our emails and phone calls were sometimes not answered right away. But once it was paid and booked things went by smooth.
Our venue was very clear on their requirements. They even gave me a list of things that the bartender was responsible for. I then forwarded that to this company and I was assured that it was not a problem and they would be able to fulfill all of their requests (which were mainly regarding cleaning) so I was happy!
The day got here and from what my family told me the bartender got there on time and set up nicely. Now the reception was over and time to clean up.
One month later we were supposed to receive a check from the venue returning our deposit, but it was way less than what we were supposed to receive. We only received 25% of what we were supposed to get, so I called the venue right away and asked why and was informed that the bar was not cleaned up like they had asked And there were spills among other things that were not cleaned.
We were beyond upset. We lost a lot of money because they didn’t do what they assured me they would do.

IV Special Events provided bartending services at our wedding and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Our guests loved the quickly-​made, quality drinks and commented that Vincent and his partner were very cool people. We worked with Vincent extensively to ensure all logistics were met and he definitely came through. Vincent is an easy-​going person — we were never pressured by him to take on his services or add any additional equipment. His expertise with bartending was truly reflected as our night went very smooth. He was very quick to respond to questions except for the two weeks leading up to our event. We talked and I understood his reasons. Other than this, there is no doubt that you would be absolutely happy with choosing IV Special Events for your bartending services.

Vincent from IV Special Events is amazing! We recently hired a bartender and event staff for 4+ hours for our wedding. People are still complimenting us on how great their services was. They even braved the rain with smiles on their faces.
Vincent was prompt in responding to me first email. The prices are very reasonable and well worth the money. We met with him a month or so before our big day for drink consultation. He gave us a perfect alcohol shopping list for the number of guests we were going to have and the specialty drinks we chose.
We selected the level above the basic offering which was great and highly suggest the upgrade. They brought cups, garnishes, bar, and much more. They were on time and professional.
We will definitely use them for our next big party/​event.

I used IV Special Events this past weekend for a holiday party and am so impressed with the level of service we received! Excellent customer service and Vincent was super helpful. They set up a large tent, arranged cocktail tables and chairs and brought a bar. I also had two additional people come out and help with food service and bar tending. We cannot begin to describe how grateful we are of this team. IV Special Events totally made our ceremony and cocktail hour. At an extremely affordable price, without cutting back on any of the quality or class, this team provided us with bartending service, cocktail tables and linen, cups, drink garnishes, and overall worked the event.
Vincent worked with us with calculating the amount of drinks we should buy to accommodate our guests and he was spot on. We had some leftover, but definitely not so much that are left with years of booze.
We highly recommend them and are even looking for an excuse to host another event just to use IV Special Events again. Do not look anywhere else. They are professional and a one-​stop shop. THANK YOU Vincent, Iveth, and team (I’m sorry I never caught the server’s name).

Vincent and Yveth are the absolute best! I highly recommend them for your next event! I had a Surprise 30th Birthday Party for my boyfriend that was 90s theme. They came early in the day to set up the 20×30 tent and 6 cocktail tables with black linens and even arranged it perfectly! Didn’t have to move a thing! They were also very flexible with their schedule when it came down to bringing down the tent! One thing that I wish I did was get the bartending service! They are such friendly and personable people that having them bartend the event would’ve been awesome! I will definitely keep them in mind next time. Oh and you can’t beat the pricing either! Best price I’ve seen for tents and cocktail tables, everyone was asking where I got them… IV Special Events! :) Couldn’t have asked for better service and people to work with! Vincent and Yveth were amazing! I highly recommend them! They were there an hour before the party started to set everything up and immediately had the drinks flowing! Drinks were delicious! I’m so happy we found Vincent with IV Special Events. He made our evening so much easier. We had a birthday party for my husband and wanted our guest to enjoy the most of the evening. So having a bartender who can whip up some good cocktails was the way to go.
He came with everything! All we had to do was supply the alcohol and mixers. He had all the bar essentials to make whatever you wanted. He was on time and all his equipment was clean and set up nicely. He arranged all the alcohol on a nice table next to him, he really made it look nice. When he left he cleaned up and left NO mess behind.
Our party went longer then expected, so I asked if he could stay another hour. He gracious said yes and I paid him for the additional services. When you have someone who is willing to go above and beyond, you know you have someone good.
I would hire him over and over again! Thanks to IV Special Events for making our night memorable.

Best bartender/​rental guy ever! Vincent and Yvette (Yvonne? I can’t remember, but she was so sweet!) were fantastic at our wedding. We had just under 100 people, there was hardly ever a line at the bar — and our tables and chairs were set up perfectly.
Originally we hired Vincent as our bartender and added a server to make sure that our guests didn’t have to leave their tables during dinner, and so we could have a champagne toast. IV Special Events went above and beyond — Yvette (Yvonne? Agh! This makes me feel terrible forgetting her name!) was so sweet, she was even clearing plates though she didn’t have to. She got a few great photos for me later in the evening, too. ;)
At the beginning of the year, I received an email from Vincent letting me know that they were now adding rentals to their list of services. I was eager to jump on board! He matched (actually, beat!) pricing that I had received from other vendors in our area. We rented 10 large round tables, 100 chairs and several 8 foot rectangular tables all with linens. Plus a cocktail table with linens for the cake. They rocked it. Everything was delivered the day before — and for a backyard wedding we weren’t sure everything would fit — this was an amazing thing. They were very helpful and accomodating. When I was worrying about the weather several weeks before, Vincent said «no problem — you can rent a tent if you need to, just give me a weeks’ notice.» Very comforting to a bride who planned an entire wedding herself!
Thank you guys so much, we had an amazing time and our guests have given us nothing but compliments — in large part because of you! Thanks again :)

We hired IV Special Events for a birthday party this past Saturday. We rented a 20×30 tent, tables, chairs and linens. Vincent not only went out of his way to accommodate the rainy weather, however, our needs as well. Vincent came days before to set up and did what he had to to do get the job done. Customer service at it’s finest! I will not hesitate to refer or hire IV Special Events again. Thank you Vincent!!!
